After 7 days of drying the 2 small clones were dry but the mother plant was still not dry, we trimmed everyone jarred the clones and put the mother plant buds bank in the tent. Clones dry weight together 75Gs

We continue to dry. This morning I got the new humidifier (pictured below, the one on the left). It has pretty much saved current and future bud from this issue. Maintaining constant humidity levels in either tent won’t be an issue moving forward 🙏. This thing connects to my phone and is smart controlled with auto settings. 🙌 hopefully controlled humidity moving forward will reduce the damage done and rescue the terps that remain. We shall see 🤞

Day 2 of Drying. Humidity has been all over the place. Got the de and humidifier in the tent but shits been up and down. As low as 40 as high as 63. Doing what I can. Right now sitting at 45. Turned the exhaust down to contain the humidity a little bit. Giving it some time to adjust to my adjustments. Would encourage anyone following this journal to follow my new 5X5 journal. Will be updating there moving forward with my next grow.

Happy Halloween 🎃 Trichome check 👀 this is the auto and two clones Day 45 of Flower (The first 11 are the auto on all the buds and the last 4 are the clones bottom tops. I Notice the difference in the appearance of the trichome structure on each plant.

This thing saved my ass today. I checked my phone after the lights came on while I was at work. Tent was at 88 degrees and climbing. I usually turn down the ventilation at night because it’s much louder than my older 4. So a few hours later I check again at it’s at 90 even with the ventilation up to 10. I planned my work load accordingly and slid out early. Stopped home before making any pick ups. The house AC was set to 90 degrees 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ my partner was home till the lights came on and never noticed. 🤣🤦‍♂️ they’ll survive put that could have gotten bad.

Made another upgrade and half to the tent. Added the larger exhaust fan and smart controller from AC infinity. The new light produces much more heat then the old one did. 🤦‍♂️ Everyone has problems, it’s about how you respond. … anyways, defoliated … kept a lot of the smaller bud sights didn’t really lollipop this one. Just wanna see what happens.

👀 at first I noticed the leafs twisting on the top. I removed the straining stakes to reduce stress a little bit. Then I noticed the plant is more developed. I’m not sure I like the way this is looking. She may be a he.

Watered this morning. Added calmag, silica, and incredible bulk to the watering of the plants in flower. The rest just got silica and PH water. About a 1.5 G of water spread around. Clones are looking like they’ve took. Seeing a little new growth and light praising. Also I think increased water intake or the new fans are drying the moisture away faster. Either way shits drying faster then it was. 80/50 right now. Week 7 Day 3 about 4ish weeks to go I think for BB. Probably closer to 6ish weeks for Runtz 1&2.

Last night I was able to get my first good smell of the terps. The smallest flower auto has a strong fruity pebbles like smell it’s really my favorite right now. The other Runtz auto in the middle has a more minty/gassy smell. The BB has a distinct diesel/gas smell. Very niceeeeeee …. Photoperiod was trained out and 1/2 gallon of water spread all around.

Took some close ups of the top bud sights. Definitely some damage done from the stem situation but things are improving on the stem. Im going to add Calmag to my next watering just to be sure those areas are covered as well. I used it at the start for a little bit but haven’t used it in a while. 🤷‍♂️ .. we progress forward .. also! Seeds have shipped. Humboldt Dream Auto coming soon! Hype for that. Also, I’m starting to realize I’ll need to put the Blue Dream plan on hold for a few months while I flower that photoperiod. It’s gonna need the space and I want the autos on 20/4 light schedule. Plants are doing better over the past few days. Defoliated, added this oscillating AC infinity fan to help control humidity and temp (check out the chart for info on VPD), added some humidity covers to the clones, seedling sprouted going to be potting it tonight/tomorrow, and probably going to water later tonight or early tomorrow. Man this overwatering situation has taught me a lot about growing and taking my time with these plants. Trying to make some adjustments by adding additional support to the environment for the plants. Just want to spread that reminder to learn from your set backs and keep growing ☝️💪🌱🌱

Applied the neem oil all around. Also remembered that I had forgot to top dress that little one. Seeing some yellowing on the leaves decided to top dress. Watered the 3 with hairs spread a half gallon between 3 plants. Silica and the bulking boost added with water ph at the end. That yellow one is silica boost 😂. EDIT: I also note that earlier using a magnifying glass I spotted small trichome production starting on the BB Auto 🥳

For me, I listen to my intuition when it comes to the plants tbh. So I had taken LST stakes off to let the plant stretch. Which it did. Now I’ve reapplied the stakes after 3-5 days. The plants are bent out away from the stem creating a large cupped hand shape. Very happy with everything so far. Happy Friday everybody 😎

1-2 weeks we will start seeing everything come together. 🙏 I also note, the largest plant and the smallest plant are about 10 days apart. I think the smallest is also a very small pheno type that is just going to be a small plant based on what we’ve seen so far. 🤷‍♂️ For a first grow, I spent 30$ on 6 seeds. Not bad. Now that I’ve seen what the process takes (thus far) I will invest in better genetics moving forward.

Adjusted the stakes and added a significant amount to each due to the new bud formation and new growth. Also did a little defoliation all around. Yield and quality are equally important on this first grow. Still concerned about this random seed it is take a long time to develop. I guess photoperiods grow much slower then autos. 🤷‍♂️

These were taken on portrait mode. All of the plants received increase in water. Water ph to 6.5 the training is definitely impacting the plants in a positive way. Stems look thick and healthy. I don’t think I’ve honestly grown any plant of any kind that’s been this healthy. I’m pleasantly surprised to say the least 😂😂🤣 Happy Growing and Good Vibes 🤙

Signs that early flower is on its way. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. 🤣 … So asking anyone with a lot of experience to look a the photo of the black pot. It’s a random seed. The rest are autos. Sketchy but don’t judge me 😂 .. I’m thinking since these are 5 gallon pots I’m okay to wait maybe another week before reammending the tops. The recipe I plan to us is 50/50 444-284 with 1 cup worm castings and probably 4-8 cups of happy frog soil the (brown bag). It has a lot of good stuff in it that I’m sure will be helpful to the plants. Plus some of the pots will need the extra soil since I left them shallow.

Rearranged and secured new ties for LST. Questions: Should I be concerned the light is to close because these plants are not stretching toward the light very much? Or is this just par for the course for auto flowers? Thoughts on this random seed? (Black pot.) not showing signs yet but we will see I guess.Last question is for anyone using organic amendments. Best time to reammend? I’m thinking anytime after 3 weeks don’t want to go too long that show signs of nutrient deficiencies but don’t want to go too early burn either. I guess with organic that’s harder to do. Thoughts?
