Covered with a plate after the seeds were placed between moist paper towels yesterday. Not going to open the plates today. Tomorrow, I will to see if the paper towels need water or not

Fingers crossed. These are the last of my viable seeds from last year. This seems Like the best method. That being said, I have never done it before. I have always used seed-to-soil with okay results. This season, however, I am trying to be pragmatic in my approach. Unfortunately my mind doesn’t work that way. Who has used this method to germinate seeds? Have you had luck? How fragile are these things when the taproot is seen?
