Olivia Afghan Skunk Auto
Season 3
2 of these in the run have a 50/50 mix of ffof and roots organic with 6 cups perlite (2 per gallon). The media should be light enough to let the structure of the plant build and not stress it out to flower early like last time.

Done
Just a photo dump. Almost finished her off. Finally touching the nugs off the main stem. Next time I’m going to try hydro and less tops to not over stress her. Still sticky and smokes well, also dried a little fast for my preference.

Harvest
Harvest day! Cut her down in pieces in order to be able to wash the buds properly. I used a cup of hydrogen peroxide in 5gal tap water warm, then a cool rinse bath, then a cold rinse bath. Laid on a rack then put into the drying tent in this new contraption I’m trying. I got it to try and take advantage of more space in the tent instead of just hanging one plant in the middle of the tent. This plant alone took up two rows. I probably should’ve started at the top because some dripping may occur after I was the next plants and hang them. Hopefully northern lights takes up two and if it is three hopefully critical mass doesn’t need more than one haha I visited after about two hours and everything was dry with the fans on high. I was worried the breeze wouldn’t get through the mesh but it seems to be ok. Put the fans to 50% over night and closed the vents 90%.

LeChron James Is washing something you always do? Any reason why?
ZaddyXL No this is my first time. I always wanted to try it, but since I had to spray for pests now seems like the best time to try it. Just want to rinse off any dust or hair that the buds catch usually. In my case I was aiming to wash off any residue and thrips if any.
Day: 99
Flowering
Watered two days ago with the dunk method. They were dry an extra day since I was away and they Deff paid for it. Tons of leaves wilted and dried up. Nothing really bounced back after watering. Everything is starting to yellow. Did I not feed enough or cut it off too early?
gimmedatsugar It doesn’t look like it’s related to underfeeding. I think the plant put itself into a finalizing stage too quickly because of being underwatered. I’d cut it too at this point. The ratio of cloudy and amber trichomes looks like it needed a week more. But the plant couldn’t have handled that. Aside from that I see not enough fan leaves. Did you just pick them a lot or did they all merge with the coalas?
ZaddyXL Interesting, if I knew that was a thing I would’ve watered them sooner and not took the chance. The fan leaves are damn near gone. She had a ph issue I believe and her leaves burned early on. Just been pulling the dead stuff that’s crispy and dried up
Day: 92
Flowering
Watered today with some Epsom salt, egg calcium solution, and recharge phed and gave almost three gallons to all three girls. Forgot to do the dunk method this time. She’s still got new growth so she’s got time.

Day: 88
Flowering
Watered today with just water and tried a new method. I filled a bucket with water and tried dunking them. Worked pretty well, I know it’s a full soak and it was way easier to drain. The fruit flies are still a major issue, but way less thrips. Continue yes to spray the soil and lower leaves/buds. Deff going to try a wash before hanging to dry with hydrogen peroxide or a lemon and baking soda mix. The lemon is a worry for me by is such small amounts it should be fine. I Lao raised them on a stand and raised the lights to get airflow under and put the fans low to the ground. Hopefully this helps deter the fruit flies.

Day: 86
Flowering
Watered two days ago ton the 5th with just ph water. Continue to spray and remove infested leaves. Seeing much less of the thrips after defoliating and upping the strength of the spray a bit.

Day: 81
Flowering
Watered yesterday with 15ml kelp, 2tspn Epsom salt, 3tspn egg calcium, molasses, and 1tspn recharge to 3 gal. Defoliated the day before pretty heavily because the thrips are going insane in some portions where I couldn’t get the spray to reach. The run off was reading low at around 5.96 ph and I usually ph at 6.57.

ZaddyXL @saviibuds you were right I was low ph
Day: 77
Flowering
Watered yesterday with just water. Added a larger praying mantis to the tent to help with the bugs. Continue to spray thoroughly, adding DE to the soil top today since it should be drier on the top now. Top leaves are ruined, but she’s still doing her thing so whatever.

Joe’s basement boof Bugs ?
ZaddyXL I don’t think it’s bugs. Yea there’s a few thrips but no real damage just ugly Poo stains. I think it’s a nute or lock out issue. Unless you see something I’m missing?
SaviiBuds Next time you water I would check your runoff pH, she might just need a good flush. I tried grow dots with an auto that looks super similar to how she looked for a while, after 2 flushes about a week apart she has some new growth. If it’s lockout, your pH will likely be too low in your runoff.

Day: 74
Flowering
Watered yesterday with 2tspn kale concentrate, 2tspn Epsom salt, 3tspn calcium egg mix, 1tspn recharge and molasses. Her too leaves are drying up completely but her lower leaves seem very healthy in a dark green. I’m still spraying about three times a day with peppermint and dish soap on the lower leaves. I added some Epsom salt and calcium egg solution before phing. Hopefully they respond well, I’m not there to see. I laid diatomaceous earth over the soil as I see more fruit flies on the soil.

northern dude by a river It looks like nute burn or lock out.
ZaddyXL I didn’t think it was nute burn at first because it was in such focused spots and not covering the entire plant consistently. Now, almost the entire top is crispy. She may also just need less light. Idk, she’s been very finicky with nutes. I know to be ready for next time now
northern dude by a river Yeah it’s always a leaning curve each grow. I found plants that love a high feed and some don’t. Do you use a conductivity pen

Day: 69
Flowering
Watered today with 3tspn Epsom salt, 3tspn egg calcium solution, 15ml kelp extract to 2.5 gallons and topped with worm castings. Continued to spray soil and lower leaves with peppermint and soap solution. Oof this damage was bad… came back after a day and she looked like this. Any ideas? I upped the calcium. Is this toxicity or deficiency?

She was showing signs of stress from either heat or light, so I raised the lights and lowered the par. Continued to spray. She’s gaining size and funk

Day: 66
Flowering
Watered yesterday with kelp, molasses, 2tspn Epsom salt, and 2 tspn diy egg apple cider vinegar calcium solution measured for 2 gal but added to 3gal water. So a little diluted I guess? I then sprayed with peppermint essential oil and dawn soap 2 drops and barley 1 drop to a cup of water. Just the stem and soil. I raised the power of the lights to 650ish par 100%. The next day everyone looked ok and not hurt by heat.

Day: 63
Flowering
She was very perky in the morning, responding well to the feeding. Sprayed neem oil again. She has spots on the top leaves, anyone know why she’s telling me?
PopsGarden420 Not an expert but they look very light in color (could be strain) but with the spots and a little yellowing I would think you’re not getting enough of something
ZaddyXL Yea I think they were all low in N, so I fed them a few days ago and it looks like things are slowing in change but the spots are still coming…
Ebuds Maybe nute burn. One of my plants look similar with the spots and tips of the leaves browning :( Have you tried moving your lights up?

Day: 61
Flowering
Watered and fed! Top dressed with 2Tbsn bloom and 1tbsn all purpose and worm castings. I then watered with molasses, recharge, and tried the kelp concentrate. I then had to top with diatomaceous earth for the infestation and spray the lower half with neem oil. Noticed some serious regression in her coloring on the lower leaves. Going to feed her today. I think I gave a half a Tbsn of all purpose last feeding a week or so ago and didn’t note it… either way, it looks like they’re needing nitrogen, so I’m going to give a full Tbsn all purpose and 2 Tbsn Bloom nutes. I’m also going to try the clean kelp concentrate to help with the recovery of all the stress and improve microbes. They will also get a Neem oil treatment for the thrip infestation and diatomaceous earth covering of the soil.

Day: 57
Flowering
I raised the lights significantly and she’s responding very well! Back to her perky self. I don’t think she took much damage but she is showing signs on the lower leaves. Did I cut nitrogen too early? Also, they all have red stems on the top and green on the bottom side. Idr what that means but I think a magenese deficiency? Found thrips on her sister, going to need to give a treatment soon.

Day: 56
Flowering
Watered her today with just water phed. Moved her location in the tent. I see more dead and dying leaves. And she’s fading in color. I’m going to say it’s from the stress of the lights, but anyone have any ideas? What sup helps healing from heat and light stress? Raised the lights even more this morning. I’m pretty sure her sisters had light and heat stress on the top. She’s in the better condition. Not sure what these colors on her leaves mean. I just fed her the other day. Do I need a calmag sup?

Day: 54
Flowering
She’s been happy, can’t really complain. Leaves stay perked up at all times. I dropped the par about by about 150 to see if she changes at all and raised the lights. Her sisters aren’t doing as good

Day: 52
Flowering
Watered and fed today with 2 tbsn of bloom nutes and a worm casting, recharge, and molasses tea phed. I waited 4 days instead of 3 because I thought I wasn’t going to be able to water. The yellowing at the bottom is consistent in all three girls. Not many leaves, but a few were turning. I removed all yellow leaves so I can see how they’re responding in a few days and if the yellowing stops.

Day: 34
Vegetating
Watered last night after feeding with 1 tbsn all purpose and 2 tbsn bloom nutes. About half the serving recommended. The water contained a tea I steeped for two days with molasses, myco, recharge, a little all purpose fertilizer, and worm castings. They each got about 25% of the mixture. Did some lst maintenance and leaf tucking

She’s doing well, however she’s got a serious kink in her taproot… is this worth the effort?? Does it matter that there’s a hump and it’s not straight? I’ll end up hurrying that once she gets taller
