Harvest

Permanent marker is trimmed and jarred, total of 2oz on the button. 10 day dry in 65*F / 55-60% in the dark. Using jars for the cure instead of grove bags, grove bags flattened my nugs last time. Overall happy with the result, especially for a freebie seed.

Nirvana42o0 Dude those buds look sick!! 🤙🏼 stoked! How long you planning on curing for?
Day: 172
Harvest

Ethos just doesn’t want to go down! Day 99 since I flipped her to 12/12 and she still has white pistils and clear trichome heads, though some are getting cloudy.
Nirvana42o0 It’s definitely getting there! What’s your Run Off levels? The leaves look droopy like it hasn’t been watered in forever. Or it could be salt toxicity in the root base. Have you tried to flush it? It could be stunted down to stress and is maturing very slowly.
Nirvana42o0 Also maybe lower the light it looks like the buds are reaching for light. What’s your temps, RH, VPD and co2 PPMs in your tent?
Day: 164
Harvest

HARVEST of the Permanent Marker. She was ready, overall easy grow with no issues. Built a makeshift tent in the basement with some sheets and paracord, dehumidifier is set to 60 and should float around 58-64 and temps will be about upper 60s / lower 70s.

Nirvana42o0 Bruh! Chop off those big ass fan leaves 😂 that fort you build should have an opening to let all the moisture out. But those buds look amazing!! I just wish I could see them more through all those fan leaves! 🍁
eyebleedorange I leave the fan leaves on to slow down the drying process, first time I chopped them all off it dried too quickly and lost all the terpenes
Nirvana42o0 I can assure you that removing the fan leaves will not dry your plant too fast… but to each their own. I’m sure it was some other mistake you made along the way and had no one to tell you want happened
Day: 163
Flowering

I think the Permanent Marker is ready to harvest, still at least a couple more weeks for the Ethos but she is damn frosty

Nirvana42o0 Damn man!! That’s fucking amazing! I just popped an Ethos Candy Store RBX and I’m so excited! They have by far the top genetics out there! So excited! 😆

Trichome pics are from the Permanent Marker, still got a ways to go on the Ethos. Thinking 2 weeks for the PM, possibly a month on the Ethos

Day 57F. Going out of town for 5 days, watered this morning, wife will be watering again Friday morning. got a couple more weeks still.

nyqon It seems you still feed them nitrogen, clawing, tips turning down and deep green color, looking dope tho ngl
eyebleedorange I haven’t fed any nutes in 3 weeks, growing in soil and just giving them water
nyqon Oh alright nothing to do bout this Ig, could maybe still do a quite flush like 2x the normal to still keep microbiology but still putting out nitrogen. then after that dry out and fill with P and especially K. Still looking dope for water only no joke

Ethos is foxtailing a bit, pulled a premature seed from her. Going to let it ride for 2-3 more weeks, otherwise looking good. The permanent marker isn’t really throwing any more white pistils, may be done a little earlier than the Ethos.

Rastaman grows If you found one seed on one the other nay have one or 2 to. 🔥🔥🔥👊🏾
growmomo Where did you buy the permanent marker seeds?
eyebleedorange They are a white label freebie I got from North Atlantic Seed Co

Day 45F (66 since flipped to 12/12.) Think I’ve got a touch of nute burn going, but nothing major. Got about 4-5 weeks left until harvest. First 4 pics are Purple Sunset RBX2, last four are the NASC freebie permanent marker.

Fed more fish bone meal and did another defoliation through the middle of both plants. Been very warm, trying to keep airflow up. Planning to harvest around 8/3 depending on the trichs

Today marks the beginning of week 5 of flower. No updates, just progress pics. Plan is to feed another top dressing of fertilizer in a week and a half.

nyqon fireee bro! Could take a little defoliation down there, may help but stick at 3 leaves a branch
Day: 121

Frosty ladies, buds are very dense on the Ethos, PM a little lighter

Fed more fish bone meal (2tbsp per plant), last feeding for these girls.

Rastaman grows Why last feed ? Are you going to flush? I would feed them 1-2 more weeks and go to flush plants are beautiful finish with a 💥 bro 🔥🔥🔥👊🏾
combatmedic81 You could feed them for at least 2 weeks if not 3 and then flush
eyebleedorange I didn’t plan on flushing, just going off the coast of Maine feeding schedule and directions state feed fish bone meal during weeks 1-3-5 of flower. I’ll keep an eye on them and might give them another feeding though.

Flowering

Noticed there was a ton of growth in the Ethos that was blocking airflow, thinned out the middle of the canopy and removed a bunch of larf. Think I’m done touching them until harvest. Up to .5gal every other day of water at this point.

Day: 102
Flowering

Realized the Ethos was very packed with leaves, so tried going through the bush and opening up underneath the canopy. Stretch didn’t take off like I thought, going to be some short plants but hoping for 2-3oz per plant.

Day: 99

Crystals already showing on the PM, some on the Ethos but not as much. Started watering to runoff, guess I should’ve been doing that this entire time?

Day 21 of flower, did a final defoliation to open up some lower bud sites but nothing crazy. Also fed fish bone meal again

Day: 90
Flowering

The stretch is on. The yellow leaves on the PM are where a branch snapped but I taped it back together and seemed to work pretty well

Day: 84
Flowering

Fed fish bone meal 3 days ago, did some defoliation of the lower branches on both plants but not as much on the Ethos. Think I used too much plant food during veg as the nutes seem to have pushed hard on the PM. Not looking terrible, definitely in the stretch phase of flowering.

Day 1 of 12/12 lights for flowering, veg lasted about 6 weeks after training.

Day: 66
Vegetating

Released the ties for training and going to let them go wild. The PM I trained a little too hard on one of the branches and it snapped, but the leaves are still growing after I put some duct tape on it. Just gave a solid watering so leaves are a little droopy.

Day: 61
Vegetating

Letting the ethos ride, hoping for a big leap when I flip to flower but done training (don’t think she likes it much.) Trained the PM a little more before leaving for the weekend, watered both.

Day: 59
Vegetating

First dose of CoM plant food fert. Leaves have been a little saggy lately, maybe overwatering. Small leaves on the Ethos, new growth a bit lighter on the PM. Going out of town Thursday, going to let them really dry out and water Sunday afternoon after the lights come on.
Zer0Ping How long you leaving for? I always hate leaving plants. Get in good with a neighbor lol.
eyebleedorange Just a couple of days, should be fine after the watering they got last night
Day: 56
Vegetating

The Ethos is a slow grower but is starting to pick up steam. Permanent Marker is chugging right along.

Day: 48
Vegetating

Training on the PM coming along well, will have 4 colas with an even canopy. Growth picking up on the Ethos as well, don’t think I will train that one and let her ride.

Day: 46

Permanent marker is coming along very well, growing like crazy. Ethos seems a bit stunted from lockout but starting to sprout new growth.

Day: 41

Topped both plants. Before and after shots, this time I trimmed off the first node growth as well. Hoping for a quick recovery and rapid growth.

Day: 40
Vegetating

Think I’m going to top these two in the next couple of days and then start LST, a little hesitant on the Ethos with it being in nute lockout but should be resilient.
Day: 33
Vegetating

Transplanted to 3g pots with CoM Stonington Blend. Roots on Ethos looked fantastic, PM roots were a bit shallow. Closed off intake “heat” vent as I think the Ethos was getting too warm (leaves curling). Fed with pH water about 6-6.5, bumped the lights to ~20-23, both fans on lowest setting to get some air movement.

Day: 26

Coming along, another week or two and I will transplant to the 3g pots

Day: 26

Notcing potential nutrient lockout, tested ph of water and was 7.5+. Watered with 6.3, next few waters will be about the same

cannawubdub It looks perfectly healthy to me, why do you think it’s locking out?
eyebleedorange There is some lighter green around the edges. More recent pics do show this more, I went through this with my first grow last year using the same Coast of Maine soil.
Day: 17
Vegetating

Plants are coming along nicely. A couple gnats hence the strips, going from misting 2x a day to 1x seems to have helped
