Made some trim run wax , turned out great got way more than expected

Weed_Fairy How do you make this? What kind of machine is needed, can’t find any recipe online.

wiffybead Nice! How did it turn out?

Day: 97

Move the flowers into mason jar because they have dried out considerably, only weighs 16grams now and it’s still wet, I wasn’t expecting much plus this is only the top 4 buds

Day: 95

Went ahead and harvested the biggest colas and did some heavy trimming. Going to let the rest of the plant grow some more now that they can get all the lights

wiffybead Nice! I’m partial to the butterfly myself :)

Day: 85

More close ups of the tricomes, I’ll get a magnifying glass soon but I’m thinking they are really close

jofatbowl Picking up a magnifying glass today

wiffybead How many days in flower?

Day: 83

+1

I took a few close ups, I’m hoping y’all can help me determine if these top colas are close, of course I don’t have a jewelry loop or magnifying glass I plan to get one on payday. I have decided that I’m going to harvest the tops when ready, and then let the rest continue to grow for awhile. Please leave comments on these tricomes and let me know y’alls thoughts. I have already began flushing with plain pH balanced water.

wiffybead Buy a laser pointer from the dollar store. There’s a lens inside that you can line up with the lens on your camera phone. Takes real nice pics and will get you in close enough to really see the trichomes.

jofatbowl Cool thanks , I’ll do that this weekend, I know it’s getting close to time

wiffybead It does look like it. Naked eye wise they look cloudy. I generally try to harvest when there’s a splash of amber mixed in

Going to have to invest in a good microscope to check tricomes for ripening..when I checked on her this morning, there was a gnat or something stuck to a flower like a Venus fly trap

Day: 76

I did some trimming and low stress training she’s behind because of all the mistakes I’ve made I just watered with 7.5 µm micron, 2.5µm grow and 15 µm of bloom,. Here are some pics

Day: 65

Budding nice ., I’m giving 5ml micro 2.5 flora gro and 7.5 bloom per gallon . I’ve had so many setbacks I’ll be happy to get whatever she gives me it says day 65 or so but I started germination around on March 1 so it’s closer to 80 days old or so, like I said, several setbacks

jofatbowl Those sugar coated flowers are so beautiful.

wiffybead Looking nice! How far along into flower?

wiffybead Don’t really see any issues with your lady. Leaves look gorgeous and the buds are developing nicely. Nice coating of frost as well. I’d say you were doing pretty damn good.

Day: 38

Buds are forming nicely, been watering with 10ml flora 10ml micro 10ml bloom I have been setting her outside when I’m off and home, let her get some of that Georgia sun

Day: 32

She is really digging the soil . Every point that I topped worked out. I watered today used 10/10/5 ml of nutrients worth of pH balanced water. She measured exactly 12” . Any ideas on when to begin flowering ? I’ll do some research but should be soon right? She is a month old , but had several setbacks.. fuck it , she survived and taught me a couple things .. please feel free to comment.

wiffybead Honestly any time after three weeks is good to go. Only reason to leave In veg is if you want to tack on more growth or for training purposes. If you are happy with her size (being aware that she will be getting about two times bigger than she is now) flip her. If you have more you want to do i.e. training, repotting to larger pot, or as I run into more often than not, no room in the flower box :) then let her grow

jeffy522 I agree with wifeybead I would try to branch wider to get maximum bud growth it’s to late but maybe also do some research into splitting it’s really effective for maximizing yield also try nematodes to keep pests away and white Dutch flowers for nitrogen and keep moisture for soil based. Also if you’re ok with it I would love to get a clone from you lmk it’s a beautiful plant.

jofatbowl Thanks for the advice I think I’ll flower really soon

Day: 28

Here’s a view of the first topper, she’s bushing a bit I love it . Watered with 1 gal of pH balance water with 2.5ml of Flora, micro, gro each

Day: 26

The plant has obviously taken to the soil no problem, adjusted the nutrients for a soil medium. I topped her again . The first topping looks great I’ll get a better picture of it next update

Day: 20

Transplant seems fine, will water tomorrow once I figure out how to mix my nutrients in the water

jofatbowl That close up to the topped. Growing good , back on after a week of nothing but icu

Day: 19

Well it’s apparent that I work to much to keep up with the dwc setup . I was working, and after a 12 hr day , come home my air pump is out. I decided then to transplant into a soil medium. I just planted the whole thing , net pot the hydroton pebbles it’s doing good so far , I’m just behind several days because of all the mechanical issues. I did top on day 16 and they are growing out good so I’m going to be fine just behind schedule, but you can’t rush greatness

jofatbowl The first picture is the topping top

wiffybead Unfortunate that the DWC failed. Was looking forward to your progress. Your girls are still good looking so keep up the good work :)

jofatbowl Thanks, I knew it be hard with the hrs I work to stay on top of it properly.

Day: 17

I had a minor setback but I’m back on track, (I think). I went ahead and topped it on day 16. I also began some low stress training. Start them young right.

jofatbowl You can see the damage done from a 12hr mistake. I’m pretty sure she’ll be stronger than ever now

jofatbowl I pulled her a little more, then when the tops are big enough I’ll tie those down for a bonsai effect

Day: 12

Amazing growth, no new nutrient burn . It’s almost time to top her and double up. I must be doing something right my first grow.

wiffybead Gorgeous. Love the growth.

wiffybead And those are beautiful roots for such a youngster

jeffy522 I’m also doing dwc is there any tips or ticks?

I have noticed a little yellow on a couple of fan leaves, I know this is mostly likely from the increase of nutrients, I’m not too concerned because it hasn’t become any worse, and otherwise the plant is growing up very quick. The root mass is doubled from day to day and it looks great overall

Bushy little girl, temp 84• Ph 5.5

Weed_Fairy Amazing how fast they grow.

Day: 9

Growing good, new growth every day, the roots are getting nice and long. I may change the water today and increase my nutrients to.50% strength

jofatbowl Mid-day update, I decided to change the water out and added more nutrients... I’m using a 5gal dwc so nutrients are as follows FloraMicro 10ml/ 2.5ml per gallon FloraGro 10ml/ 2.5ml per gallon FloraBloom 10ml/ 2.5ml per gallon PH 5.5 85• And suggestion, comments, smartass remarks are definitely welcome, please this is my first ever indoor hydro system.

Weed_Fairy You’re doing a great job man, I love root pictures for some odd reason.

Day: 8

Not a lot of changes since yesterday, there is some new growth on top. I’m excited how it’s coming so far. Gonna add a little bit more nutrients this weekend.

Weed_Fairy Beautiful man.

Day: 7

The girl has new leave growth on top which is nice , will be topped soon. I’ll probably up the nutes this weekend

wiffybead May want to be cautious with topping early. From what I understand you generally want to wait til they have at least 3 nodes before topping. I generally wait till 4-6 nodes and top to the third. Nice thing about waiting a bit is you can take the top as a clone and either get the next batch going or clone it straight into flower for sexing

Day: 6

Not much has changed, I’m debating adding a little more nutes next week, as I went light on the measurements. I also am planning on adding more lights before flowering

jofatbowl Room temp 82• water pH is stable at 5.3

Day: 5

Had some issues with my other seedlings, but I still have one doing great, the roots have reached the bottom of the net pots. Running a mild nute solution now . General hydroponic Flora trio

Day: 3

All 7 seedlings have emerged. I went ahead and covered the Rockwool with Hydroton to prevent algae. I also checked the pH and level 5.5. Added 4ml of each nute to the reservoir. Will move them to their permanent homes when my new pumps arrive Wednesday

Rydikule Are you doing a hydroponic system grow?

jofatbowl Yes this is a deep water culture system in a 5gal bucket

Day: 2

+1

Seedlings are standing tall 4/7 have popped

jofatbowl I know what y’all are thinking, “why does jofatbowl have seven baskets in one system?” I’m only nursing the seedlings in one dwc system. I’ll transplant them into their own separate homes.

jofatbowl Day 2 update 4:20 pm the 5th seedling has emerged

wiffybead Looking forward to your grow. I’m dipping my toes into the hydro waters with my next plant. I am also going to be using DWC. It will be fun, and hopefully informative, watching your updates

Day: 1

The seedlings have emerged
