16.2 oz dried with the stems removed!! Big Black Bananas yielded 3.5 ounces and the rest was the two Blueberries N’Chocolate. Getting ready to start round 2 with the same seeds, only two plants this time!!

Lights go out for 2 days at the end of tomorrow. Harvesting in 3 days. I will continue to update as I go through the drying and curing process. I’m hoping for a 10 - 14 day drying period followed by a two or so cure. The colors are really beautiful. Such beautiful girls!!

I’m harvesting in four days. I think the girls are ready. First three shots are the Blueberries N’Chocolate. The last is the Big Black Bananas, definitely a high sativa strain. Smells are about the same. I did harvest a smaller branch of the BNC 6 days ago. The flower looked really suspect, so I chopped it off. Turns out it was just fine, just really airy. Anyway, it’s been drying since and I couldn’t help but sample it. It’s not ready, it smells like fresh hay, but gets me really high. It makes me even more excited for the final product.

The first picture is the Blueberries N’Chocolate. Still smelling like coffee and still fattening up!! The Big Black Bananas still have a fruity aroma and are slowly beefing up. Probably going to harvest next weekend. We’ll see how it goes!!

I got the second light installed. Same as the first, Mars Hydro TS1000. I did not daisy chain them because they are both set at max levels. I will test that function out on my next grow. Can’t wait to start again and this one still has a bit to go. I had to hang a lot of the Big Black Banana’s branches. I’m hoping this will help the bud sites develop and continue to grow. Supposedly this strain is a late bloomer and does a lot growth in these last two weeks, or I still have about three weeks left. I guess we’ll see. From all my research, this is when the magic starts to happen. I’m so excited!!

I think I’m 14 - 21 days from harvest. The girls are doing well. I’m getting my second light tomorrow. That should help finish up the flowering stage nicely. I’ve got several fat buds that are only going to get bigger. The Big Black Banana (top left; brighter green) seems to be a week behind the Blueberries N’Chocolate (right and bottom; darker). Once I get my second light installed I will need to hang a lot of the branches up. I want these girls to really fatten up. They are so STICKY. I need some gloves.

These girls are cruising right along. I plan on picking up another light to help with the last month of flowering. I’m hoping to have some nice, thick buds!! Once the canopy filled out, the girls kind of prune themselves. I try to remove all of the dead or soon to be dead leaves to help minimize the chances of mold. All three plants are very resinous. Very sticky!!!! The BBB is still kinda skinny and is lagging behind in production. BNC is thick and is really filling out. So beautiful.

The BNC has a strong chocolate and coffee smell. The BBB has no real smell, just weed. The BNC is more dark while the BBB is brighter. Both very beautiful.

Feeding every other watering, still using Fox Farms trio and CalMag. They are getting so big and smelly. The Blueberries N’Chocolate have a strong coffee smell and slight chocolate smell at the moment. The Big Black Bananas just smell like weed. I am going to add an additional light next week. I plan on finishing these girls with tons of light. I’m hoping for big nugs!!!!

I moved my lights up two clicks. Still sitting roughly 14” above the canopy. Everything is status quo right now. I think I see a little frost on some of the BNC’s. Hopefully I only have 1.5 more months!!

I can’t seem to get a good picture of the canopy without it washing out. I will get some better pics here soon. Still watering every other day and feeding nutes every other watering. Still sticking with The Fox Farms trio and Cal-Mag. My light is at full power and the girls love it. I am going to supplement this light but not sure what I am going to use yet. I’ll figure that out in a few weeks. Not too much longer to go. I anticipate harvesting in the middle of November. Hoping to have my own stuff by Christmas. I’m so excited!!

MASSIVE!! The canopy has filled out nicely. I’m hoping it will even up a bit. The BBB is still pretty lanky. I’m thinking it is a high Sativa strain. The BNC’s are growing thick. It has literally almost doubled in size since flipping to flower. RH is floating around 62%. I am waiting on my dehumidifier to arrive. Otherwise, the girls are looking great!! I finally got around to venting the exhaust to the attic. Shouldn’t have waited so long.

The girls made it through the transition. The light was off for exactly 36 hours. They started their first day in the 12/12 cycle. I watered them this morning and will be continuing the feeding cycle of every other watering. 15 ml Big Bloom; 10 ml Grow Big; 10 ml Tiger Bloom; 5 ml CalMag I’m still in shock that I grew these beautiful plants from a seed. Very amazing!!

I’m flipping the girls to flower today. The lights go out for 36 hours, then moving them to a 12/12 cycle. The power level is still at 75% max power @ a height of 26” above the canopy. My nutrient schedule will remain the same. I did start the third Fox Farm nute Tiger Bloom last feeding. I did some defoliation and cleaned up the bottom part of the plants. It makes it easier to water. The smell has gotten stronger each day. I’m excited to see what kind of smells I will get once the buds start to form. Still nervous. Dang, not sure what I was thinking putting three plants in this 3x3 tent. Too tight, next time only two. The girls are growing fast!! Responding well to training and nutrients too. I heavily defoliated one of the BNC’s as an experiment. We’ll see how it goes!

First grow!! Looking really good. Topping went really well and training is an ongoing success. I have done some slight defoliation and added an additional fan. It blows directly above the canopy and below the light. The girls have responded very well to the nutrients. Water slowly so the soil has a chance to absorb the water. Using 3 mil CalMag, 25 mil Big Bloom, and 3 mil Grow Big. Started with once per week for two weeks, now I’m moving to every other watering. Now I just need them grow taller!! I have my scrog ready to go!!

I am thoroughly enjoying giving these girls attention. I know that it is tedious work, but it brings me a lot of happiness. I believe it also helps with my PTSD. Who knew gardening could be so relaxing. LST is going well, I think. The girls are responding well. I haven’t posted in 10 days!!!! I’ve done a lot. Raised the light a few inches and turned up the intensity. I also topped my main cola and a few others. Started LST on all plants. So far so good. I had no idea how addictive it is!! I started my nutrient regime last Saturday. 1.5 ml of CalMag and 3 tbs of Fox Farms Big Bloom. Once per week. Overall the plants are very healthy. No signs of negative impacts for any of the recent changes. They keep growing and growing!!

They are still growing really fast. I’m anticipating another 1.5 weeks before veg. I plan on building my scrog in the next few weeks too. Exciting times!!!! No changes to the light setup and still using only distilled water with no nutrients. I am rotating the plants everyday. Not sure if that helps or not.

I haven’t changed anything. The girls are growing fast!!!! They are all looking really healthy and are starting to get some secondary growth. This is still my first grow and wanted to give some feedback on my tools. Update on equipment: Taotronics humidifier - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! It has a humidistat, so you can set it and forget it. Mars Hydro TS1000 LED light - I have nothing to compare it to; however, it’s getting the job done!! BN Link mechanical timers - nothing works better.

Transplant day. They have gotten too big for their current homes. Roots are starting to showing at the bottom and the leaves are well past the rim of the pot. They are going into a 5 gallon fabric pot filled with half of each of Fox Farms Ocean Forest and Bush Doctor. I am pretty excited. Notes pictures to come of the new pots!!

The second set of leaves for each plant are starting to grow really fast. The BBB leaves have almost doubled in size over night. The BNCs are starting to look alike. I had to label them #1 and #2 to be able to tell them apart. This has been a great start for my first grow. I need to determine which nutrients to use. I am thinking of sticking to Fox Farms and use their trio. I need to go back to my local garden shop for more soil and coco coir, so I will check on the nutes then. More to come!

All three have a second set of leaves forming. They stopped stretching!! I finally got my light dialed in. I increased the intensity a little bit more. They love the light!

They are a little lanky, but appear to be healthy. I increased the light again and they are responding great. I hooked the exhaust fan up to a timer to turn on 15 minutes every hour. That helps to move air and reduce the temps.

This is my first grow. Trying to figure out my lighting situation. I have a Mars Hydro TS1000. It’s the new one with the dial as a dimmer. It still has the variable diode dimmer too. I have it set at the bare minimum in the diode, and 30% on the dial. I removed the hood from my tray and turned on the humidifier. It has a built in humidistat and will turn off at 50% RH. I still have the heating mat on. I will probably turn that off during the lights on schedule and turn it on while the lights are out. Notes for next time: plant the seedling deeper in the medium. I am learning a lot!!

BBB is growing tall!! I put a tad bit more soil at the top to give it some support. One of the BN’C has just barely sprouted. Waiting on the second one now. Hopefully it will sprout tonight.
