East Side OG

March 8 2020

Picked up a 4th Clone yesterday that is a little larger than the 3 we have, so I’m going to track this progress as well. Last night I soaked the brickwool in ph 5.5 water mixed with CloneX clone solution for 5ish minutes. I poked a hole IN THE BOTTOM of the brickwool. I made a small slanted cut at the bottom of the plant to give it a fresh intake and scored the base of the stem slightly. Then, I coated it in root boost rooting hormone and placed the stem in what most would actually consider the bottom side of the brickwool. I did this so that when I put it in the tray, it sticks out over the top. That way it’s easier to pick it out of the tray to check for roots. This also allows us to add plenty of clonex clone solution water in the tray beneath without letting it sit stagnant in the water and becoming too soaked. It hovers above the bottom so that the rock wool stays humid. The humidity dome is going on, and I hope by not overwatering this clone we will have roots in 6-7 days.
