Harvest

3 plants total wet untrimmed weight is 5.1 pounds. Should end up with a little over a pound after trimming and dry/cure. Which means I should average approximately 3.5 pounds per light. Bags are being frozen and next step is to cyro trim and then go into the freeze dryer. Will update with more pics during that process.

aanto26 Why are you freezing them? And will you freeze after trimming?

OP@angiesgarden We use liquid co2 to trim. It’s a machine that is kinda like a washing machine. You put the buds in a big basket and close the lid. It pumps liquid co2 inside the chamber and tumbles for about 30 seconds. After it’s trimmed it goes into a freeze dryer which will then heat up the bud thawing it out and removing all the moisture at the same time. Total cure and dry time from plant to ready to sell is a little over 24 hours vs 21 days.
