Code Blue first grow

Northern michigan basement grow

This is my first go at growing!

Code blue

Day 26 (Week 4)

Day: 26

Clone C rooted a couple days after b and I transplanted it about 5 days ago. I had to go back a recut/dip in hormone on day 16 after doing the tug test and finding that none of the code blue clones had rooted. It took about a week, to start seeing roots. Although c was the smallest and showing the least potential, it is very strongly rooted now.

Clone A, the one I thought was strongest, was the last to show roots. I transplanted this clone 3 days ago. It’s leaves are a little lighter than the other 2 clones. Not sure if this is due to overwatering or too humid conditions in the humidity dome during propagation. I think this is going to be a very strong plant.

Alright, I finally got everything to ACTUALLY root. This is B. I transplanted it about a week ago and it’s taking off now. Used CloneX to water up until last night when we gave it some veg nutrients. B was the first to root.

Day: 15

Whyyyyy are there barely any roots showing? Clone a is still the largest but I don’t see any new roots forming yet.

Day: 14

Clone a. This one is tallest. 3” as it sits, 4.25 if I assist the longest stem up strait with my finger. Still wondering about roots.

Day: 14

Clone b. Still questioning if there are roots, but it seems to be growing?

Day: 14

Clone c. No roots showing. Seems to have a stunted growth compared to the other 2.

A is standing nice and tall! I’m not seeing any more root development but it’s the tallest of the 3 code blue clones. 2.5 inches as it sits, 3.75 if the full length of the longest stem is stretched up.

C is not showing any roots yet and is still the smallest. New growth looks pretty healthy, but time will tell on this one.

B is looking good! Possible roots showing, but I can’t tell. Sprayed with clonex mist

Clone c is not showing as much growth as the other 2. No roots yet!

Day: 11

Clone a looks really healthy. We put the humidity dome back on last night because when we checked there were still no roots showing. Today MAYYYYBBBBEEE I might see one small root poking through on A.

Day: 10

Clone B’s New growth is looking healthy. We started using CloneX mist on the leaves and CloneX clone solution in the water in the bottom on Day 6. Temp is staying between 73-78. Old Leaves are yellowing a bit, I think partially due to overwatering, and partially because the new growth is using the nutrients from the old leaves. Yesterday, we tested to see if the roots were establishing and the humidity dome could come off. We did this by taking the dome and checking on them at 20 minutes, then 60 minutes, then 2 hours. We took before and after photos. Apparently if the clones wilt, their roots are not established enough to leave the humidity dome off, but if they don’t, you’re good to take it off. They didn’t wilt, so we left the dome off. Keeping humidity between 60-70% inside the tent using a humidifier. Clone B looks the has the least yellowing of the 3 clones, but is the only one with a small amount of yellowing on the new growth.

Plant C using only 5.5ph water. CloneX comes today, so we’ll start treating to stimulate root propagation.

Plant B still just using 5.5 ph water while we’re rooting.
