Had to leave the ladies in the dark for 36hrs bc I couldn’t figure out the light timer last minute. 🤦🏻♂️ Anyway, they actually bloomed A LOT during that time and seem to look okay. They obviously needed a drink. But is there any risk of screwing up the potency or anything at all internally with the plant bc of lights out for so long at this stage? 🙏🏻

1/2G + C/M. Yesterday’s big bloom feeding perfectly balanced the PH of some $3 organic soil. So far though I am amazed at what nutes/food can do. The tips of the leaves alone look so much nicer. I can’t wait for my second grow and nail some of this stuff from the start. 🪴💨👊🏻

??? - Main branches have grown to within about a foot from my lighting. TheMorrisGardener I wouldn’t quit. You haven’t experienced flower yet so that’s good experience to have. My first plant was a train wreck too. I’m on my second grow and they’re 1000x better as I was able to spot signs faster and make corrections. Looks like it needs a good shot of nitrogen before you flip to flower though or you’ll have your leaves shed from the bottom up like I did reducing your yield. Good luck!

5 nodes on LST branches pictured up close. Lower leaves there are darker green while the top of the plant is much lighter as you can see, with some kind of tip issue. Deficiency??? Btw, seeing growth now in branches after several waterings with Alaska Moorbloom. Will she ever flower?? She is the runt of my first litter and the last one still making her run. Growth post-topping. Starting to see an okay structure of shoots around the stalk. I’m currently working on the right kind of additives (Alaska Moorbloom 2tsp yesterday) to stimulate late veg / early flower. The kPa has also been properly set for this stage as well. charlie_wax Oh good. I’m feeling impatient about the growth, but my next update will show how much growth above where I tipped it. I think I expected the lower shoots on LST would be taller? But maybe they’ll stay shorter. There’s still new growth where bud sites would be.

Pushing bloom post-chop. Lines are there, especially where LST has been applied on the lower branches. Brushed out dirt/peat moss combination above the root ball to make room for new soil, which will be watered down in the next day or two. I want it to dry a bit, forcing some uptake from the medium vs. continued saturation with RH around 55%. VPD — lock it in. #FirstGrow #Organic

BINAII You may be experiencing a lockout situation due to the Ph at the plant’s roots being outside of the optimal range. Says you’re doing an organic grow? I recommend allowing your soil to dry out, plain water at 5.9 - 6.1 Ph and test the run off. Allow only as much runoff as needed to take a measurement. Test the Ph and PPM of the runoff and adjust accordingly. I know there are ample nutrients in the soil cause this plant has gotten to the 9 finger fan leaves. I think the roots aren’t able to get the proper nutrients up through the plant because of a lockout situation.

Before and after pruning fan leaves. You can see I’m using LST on the under layer — that’s helping get them light as well. Any ideas with how to use the fan leaves? Besides drying them out, grinding, and using as filler. Thanks all! 🪴👊🏻💨

Lost all but one: the runt, and she’s a fighter. I was advised to let this run go and chalk it up to genetics, but I’m stubborn, and wanted to push them one last time. I don’t know what she’ll produce if anything but she’s grown a sh#% TON since repotting and, perhaps more importantly, figured out the air flow+humidity+temperature conundrum. Pull the plug on these???? Day 58 from water germination, and I have struggled w/ this very first grow from the start 😞 stunted them early and then lighting, humidity, etc has been tough to control. 💡is a 2K lux light going to be enough juice in a 2x2 (Spider Farmer kit) or do I need to upgrade? 💦🔥 yesterday got a nice humidifier that produces heated moisture so I ditched the small space heater which may have been messing with them too bc air flow was plant level. So - is this a start over? Thanks gromies👊🏻💨

She’s almost even with the top of the planter. Going no-dome for the rest of the 18hrs on - I’m comfortable with the RH (51%) and light height (about 2 feet) to push these little girls. A nice drink and nap time to follow in about 4 hrs. Will spoil their nap with a boost of heat (2-3 degrees) to give them that Mediterranean feel they supposedly love.

Waking em up for sunshine, maybe dry out a little? Not really sure how moist to keep them. Nothing ever drains, and it’s moist, not soaked, an inch or so into the soil. Maybe this will be the spark for the rest to break ground #FirstGrow

tokyo2004 Definitely give it some time until it dries out again then just mist the top, 4 sprouted for me and seem to do well(try to avoid misting the actual leaves because it can magnify the lights you’re using)
