Ladies today, they’re almost done. Friday they’re getting chopped. They’re almost done completely I’d say. Trichome production is great with solacure lights

Switched them to a smaller tent. It’s brighter and takes less space. Go figure. I started flushing them.

They’re getting extremely frosty, calyxes are dope as fuck on the sativa dom Pheno closer to the camera. Pheno 2 (indica dom) are behind. Just my luck... they’re so small but damn are the buds way more stacked. Day 37 of flower. Going to finish strong as my first grow. I posted a pic of both solacure lights I’ve used. It’s my first grow so I’m doing everything I can. I will do a grow that has no uvb and compare the diff. But that’s down the road.

Day 32 of flower, crazy trichome production. Good humidity, good temperature. Need to add more tea to the girls. Hopefully they produce some dank buds.

Day 23 of flower, they’re looking really frosty. I stopped spraying them. First time growing and my buddy says they’re fucking nice. He likes my hydro setup and called my girls monsters. Got to admit that got me excited. First time doing something like this. I say the UVB is badass, but idk how much it’s working so far. More to come. I also fed them today. pH was around 6.2, I didn’t bother changing it. Might tho, yeah. I will. And the EC was around 2.5 to 2.4. A little high for my taste but just experimenting. My buddy also recommended florakleen, for flushing. Gotta check it out. My tea is almost ready too!

This is the first little trip I gave them. They’re asleep right now and I can’t take a pic but wanted to show and talk about progress and what I’ve done. So far I’ve bought two solacure lights. Mind you that I’m not looking for yield anymore. I want potency. Training can be learned. But messing with a strains biology is tricky. I’m trying to find a general rule of thumb for applying UVB. So far they’ve shown a bit more resin. Not since install but since switching to flower. I found a way to raise the light to increase the coverage but have lowered the Par. Had my buddy Mike come down and he told me I could just add lightbulbs that give the far red spectrums and deep red spectrums or some stuff. I’m just quoting the guy. I also bought some cheap lights. I figure they’re going to help me in the future if I ever want to grow some cilantro indoors or some shit. But anyways the girls are looking great. I have a little experiment to the right of the picture. I keep drying the roots out and spraying them. Basically bringing her to the brink of death. She seems strong tho. I’m going to keep her that way see how she responds. Anyways I’ll post more pictures soon.

Girls are in flower right now. Week one already passed this 14th. Going into week 2 and already seeing pistils. She doesn’t look stressed. But I will wait to trim her one more time.

I just flipped to flower. It’s been in veg this long because of the brown algae. Trimmed them and trained them one last time. The root balls are sort of too big to pull out now. I tried to pull the back ones out and they’re too heavy to hold with one hand. Oh well. I also have some clones ready to go. Saw something interesting in the back one that made me think maybe this ones stronger. Why? Well it grew tall as hell in the last week out of nowhere so I’m definitely going to keep the gene. Maybe I should mark them? I also defoliate done last time. Let’s see what happens.

I added a PH controller so I don’t have to monitor the PH. It keep it at about 5.9-6.1 I say that’s relatively safe. At least I don’t have to monitor it. That’s a relief.

A bit more defoliation. Trying to work them into the net. Adjusted the PH and nutrients. Everything is topped up nicely. One of the plants had a huge root ball. I sort of stopped checking them as soon as the net went up. It’s too hard to check but I do once in a while. I’m afraid they’re going to drink up water way too fast.

The plants are beginning to grow really nicely. Already took clones off what I think is the best genetics. Added a foliage spray because water is low and I have to go get some. I need to figure out how to keep it topped up without me being there. I do have a way. It’s a Rez tank. I’m just a tad nervous about installing it.

They’re in the new system. Air stones and waterfall. I don’t have to keep the system under 68 degrees due to the tea. Let’s see how far we can push it

The tea really keeps the PH balanced. It went from 5.8 to 5.9 in 2 days. That’s amazing in my book.

Defoliate a bunch of fan leaves. On most of the girls. Haven’t touched GSC 3 and 4 because it looks like it still hasn’t fully recovered. The bucket named four represents the PH and EC for that specific bucket. I topped everything off with Filtered water, balanced the PH and topped off the EC for pretty much every plant. Everything seems fine so far. I’m going to let them recover for a couple of weeks

Top left plant is the strongest. Let’s call top left. GSC 1 Bottom left, GSC2 Top two right are GSC3 and GSC4 And finally bottom right is GSC5 GSC 1 is drinking water like a mad man, or lady, whatever. I definitely need to take clones out of GSC1 GSC2 is a tad slow. Strong growth but I suspect the stone has something to do with it. Once I get the waterfall/RDWC up and running, water oxygenation shouldn’t be a problem. GSC3 and GSC4 were the most sick plants but they blew up with the Tea I made them. Healthy but some leaf deformities. That’s normal up until they’re healthier but I see healthy leaf formation already. GSC5 is a strong swimmer too. Can’t say much other than this one is growing at a normal rate. So far they’re all in their individual buckets but I got the system almost set up and ready to go.

I managed to keep 5 plants from the ones that got hit with brown algae. It gets pretty damn warm and still no signs of slowing down. I started some new ones just in case and applied the methods of the tea I learned. That will be another grow.

Top right is the healthiest. I got hit bad with some Cyanobacteria (brown algae) but found this interesting thread online about beneficial bacteria in hydroponics and I dove deep into reading the thread. I would like to say with utmost certainty that my crop is saved. I lost about four plants. They were absolutely strong but I couldn’t figure it out no matter what. Now I let the temperatures rise in my DWC about 72-73 and no algae. The plants made a full recovery.. bottom right is a bit stunned but growing nonetheless and the other two on the top left are my sickest plants which is like to say have made a full comeback after a week of being on the tea. Bottom left was showing stress in the leaves by the mutations and turns they took. Top foliage looks more healthy

GSC1 and 2 seem stunted in my opinion root growth is almost daily tho. It’s growing leaves underneath larger leaves. They all are. GSC 5 was next to GSC 6 and 7. 6 and 7 had Spider mites. How? I have no idea. I got some insecticidal soap to kill the bastards. Just sprayed them all. So far 6 and 7 seem unaffected but saw that 6 had the most damage. Small white spots and eggs being laid. Hopefully the soap will get rid of them. GSC 3 and 4 under the fluorescent light seem to grow normally. Not too much change like the ones under the LED? Maybe I should get the other LED for Veg. It’s doing really good in the small chamber of the large grow tent. GMO 1 and 2 seem fine. No spider mites on these. So far...

Update: Broke my damn PH tester. One comes in the mail in 2 days. Impatient as fuck. Got the Apera p60 I think? It’s about a buck sixty. Hope it’s better than these 20 dollar ones

GSC 1 and 2 don’t look as radiant as they used to. Leaves are abnormally large. They’re a bit more droopy but I’m wondering if it’s because I have a fan on top blowing down. Not too hard. I’m going to leave it either way. GSC 6 and 7 have the absolute whitest roots of them all. Super healthy leaves. Super healthy plants. A bit of nute burn or light burn. I’m more than certain it was light because I lifted the light and it stopped completely since I saw it about a week ago. GSC 3 and 4 were weird to transplant in hydro. I ended up trying to keep as much of the roots, which I did. A couple small pieces got cut on the net cup but they’ve been here for a couple hours since transplant and they seem fine still. Just put them in their own DWC. GMO 1 and 2 look healthy as shit but their roots don’t look good at all. It’s weird tho, they were in the same DWC as GSC 3 and 4. Maybe it’s the genes? Idk? Other than that. Jacks hydro isn’t to hard to mix. I do litters, not gallons. I just divide by 3.785. Why does this work for me? Idk. GSC 5 in the mason jar is actually one of the healthiest too.

They’re looking good. EC is around 2200, PH is constantly between 5.8 and 6. No algae but very little browning. I’m guessing it’s from the nutrients. But other than that white. Going to top up and check nutrients Sunday. I have to take them out of the cloning solution as well. They’re growing really fast but that’s to be expected out of the Vegetative phase right? Note to self, KEEP “1 GSC” as mother. It’s exploding much faster than the original three.

This plants leaves look different than the others. I read it could have been the Ph and I do admit I did leave them in cubes for too long In still water. Hopefully that didn’t affect it that much.

Added GMO cookies to the mix. Bottom right two are GMO of first pic with white towel cover. The one In the jar I had to save. Roots barely started touching the water but it was way too low. Transplanted to a much bigger pot than I should have. The other in the black tote are older and more developed.

Had some issues with germinating but got that settled. So far, the third one, from left to right, is the furthest along and the oldest. The other two that have sprouted were late bloomers. But ok in my opinion. Out of 6 seeds only 4 germinated.

I just planted the seeds into freshly soaked cubes and dipped them into the Jacks cloning water soluble salts. I bought Jacks 321.
