Two Auto #1 (feminized autoflower) plants in a 2×2 Mars Hydro TS600 kit using 3-gallon smart pots filled with Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil. They’re under a 22/2 100w LED light cycle with temps averaging 72–80°F and humidity around 65% Ventilation is handled by a 4” inline fan (exhausting out the top) and a clip fan for circulation

Something odd about the color on thing 1, in my opinion. Got a ph tester(haven’t Ph’d water before) and it looks like I’ve been giving 7.1 ph water to them. Ph up/down has been ordered. Holding off on watering. Is it too early for lockout? Or is this light green something else?

pityfitz Technically never too late for lockout. My tap water is about 7 so I ph it down with a dropper and white vinegar in the meantime

billyfazex Thanks for the info! Yes I’m definitely going to do that as well. When I started I thought “eh tap water ph can’t make MUCH of a difference” but reading online it definitely can 😳

pityfitz Don’t feel bad I learned that too probably at the exact same time you did in your grow, my plant is surviving just fine. (My mystery photo on my page) but she’s beautiful and not as awful looking as you’re kicking yourself for. Although I do see that electric green you’re talking about when weird, i literally went through the same weirdness it’s funny. Start a grow journal if you haven’t already, it’s helped me SO much and I can track later in the grow if I wonder why mine isn’t as large as I feel it should be, I can track it back to a certain problem earlier in the grow and learn for next time
