Flipped into flower about 2 weeks ago this is baby girl 1st plant that almost died. Lil sis the second plant turned out to be lil bro lol so he was tossed. She didn’t have nearly as big of stretch as the plant that’s abt 2 wks younger than her. 6/26/20

Getting up there doing LST topping and defoil on lil sis only lightly on baby girl. She’s still very stunted. I plan on flipping these girls in 2 wks or less.

I have been neglecting taking pics but not my girls. They are both still doing very good and appear to be girls (for now 😬) Lil sis has been topped LSTed and lightly defoliated last Saturday and is doing amazing. I am planning on repeating tonight because she’s grew out so much. I was a little more cautious with baby girl since she still was kindve runty last Saturday so I only FIMed her and did LST and then my bf came and defoliated her a little (even tho I didn’t want him to 😑) after a couple days to recover she rebounded amazingly and is now taller than lil sis at 5.5” lil sis is 5” baby girl still isn’t as full as my other 2 bag seed girls but is doing amazing in spite of her rough start glad I didn’t throw her out. I did do more LST on her today.

Today is my one month anniversary since my first little bean sprouted! I’ve been addicted since lol but I absolutely cannot believe baby girl has made it this far I still haven’t finished filling in her journal but at one point I was certain I would be throwing her out now today she had her first round of LST! I’m still not sure if I’m doing it 100% correct any tips or suggestions needed and welcome.

Baby girl is doing good in her new home. Growing big and strong very proud of her! Her stipules are thin and crossed but I don’t see anything else indicating pre flowers. she’s bagseed so I have my fingers and toes crossed for a girl! This is a good sign. I tried LST today with lil sis she’s the biggest and lowest from the light she’s growing really good width wise just not much height yet. I hope I LSTed correctly any tips welcome. I only did one part to see how she would react.

Will fill this out more in detail later. Did lower them from their light some today tho I think I have been babying them by having them so close. I see baby girl stretching a little already! They’re nice and full but I want a little height to them.

The girls all together (lil mama has her own journal because she’s about 2 wks behind) baby girl is oldest plant sprouted 3/20 and lil sis is 4 days behind 3/24 sprout.

I can’t believe it took me 10 days but it was then that I realized the cheap dirt I put her in was killing her. Good soil suitable for marijuana growing is VERY important, regular miracle grow is not good for growing weed! Right now the only soil I can recommend is roots organic it bounced this little baby right back. I didn’t add any nutrients or anything just changed her soil. I could already see bright new growth coming in. As soon as I placed lil sis into the roots organic soil she stopped drooping as well.

Lil sis seemed to love her new home the one leaf was still droopy but she had growth overnight. I believe she was nutrient deprived because I didn’t use the nutrients included with the jiffy cube. After seeing lil sis’s turn around I decided to transplant baby girl. The dirt she was in was terrible I didn’t get any pics thankfully her roots were still white and healthy.

Baby girl was still putting along no real growth I was pretty sure I was going to have throw her out. Even worse it seemed to begin with lil sis too. One of her cotyledons we’re starting to twist and turn yellow. I had just gotten my roots organic and some starter pots so I decided to transport her whole little jiffy cube into a starter pot filled with my roots organic soil. I did not cut the netting off her jiffy cube and made sure to bury her skinny little stem that was starting to turn purple all the way to the top with dirt. I read that new roots would come from the stem.

My first attempt seemed to be failing less then a week in. I knew there was something with the nutes but everytime I researched I felt like I was on information overload and just couldn’t figure out what. She looked even drier so I decided to water her and got the bright idea to give her the nutes I had just gotten. The GHE GO box for 36.00 on Amazon I believe has all nutrients needed from start to finish. She was less then a week old but I followed the instructions on the box for week 1 seedling but giving at half strength so I gave her 2.5 ml of each nutrient listed for wk 1 in the whole gallon but only gave her about 40 mls of this. I checked and took a pic about an hr later and she seemed to look a tad better already.

No pictures of my girls this day. I ordered a new tent and was pretty busy getting that all setup and organized. I ordered a 32x32x64 tent by opulent systems it was under $70 and much taller and better sized then the 2x2x4. I quickly realized that my 300w cheapo led wound not be sufficient for this sz tent tho. So I went ahead and ordered a 1000w led light.

I honestly didn’t focus on Baby Girl much this day she was still sputtering along. Lil sis had sprung her head up in only 2 days and taken all of my attention. I was amazed at how fast she grew with baby girl I forgot about her and checked back and saw a sprout so I was happy I had caught the process this time. She was fully up and standing in a little over 12 hrs. I didn’t water her or her jiffy cube and planned to leave her under the dome in the jiffy cube for at least a week before transplanting her.

Day 3 from sprout she wasn’t looking too good. Her leaves were already curling downward and her stem had changed from a healthy green to dark purple. I decided to water her just to be safe. Lil sis still hadn’t sprung her head yet.

Day 2 she started off already looking sad I wasn’t sure what I was doing wrong. Her dirt looked dry but it shouldn’t have been so I was afraid to water her. I dropped another seed in a glass of water then planted it in a jiffy starter cube I found at Walmart. They’re little dried pellets u add water to that expand. I did not use the starter fertilizer that comes with them. I then planted seed 2 (Lil sis) into one of those. Covered with the lid and placed her under the tent with the light.

3 days after sitting her under the light I checked one morning and saw a little sprout. Her dirt seemed very dry at one point so I decided to give her some squirts, and made a big mistake by spraying her young leaves and sitting her back under the light.

Hello I am going to start by saying I am going to try to be as detailed as possible in this journal. I apologize if it’s long winded lbvs I want to be able to come back and see exactly what I have done and also to help others. This is day 0 of the very first seed I germinated and planted. From a bag of weed that I can’t remember the name of. My germination process is very simple I just put it in a jar of lukewarm water in a warm dark place for abt 18-24 hours. I go back and check the jar and give it a shake to make sure seed floats to bottom and inspect to make sure there is break in seed and I can see beginning of white taproot. I then placed my very first seed in a solo cup with dirt frm the dollar tree I didn’t have all of my stuff then but did have my complete grow tent kit and was anxious to get started. I was using a 2x2x4 tent and 300w blurple that came with my kit. I also had my carbon filter and vent fan setup to extract air, at the time only one fan to circulate fresh air, and my humidifier I’m growing in my basement and it’s rly hard keeping humidity up (rh should be high 50-70 for seedling stage) I placed the seed directly into the dirt and directly under the light abt 26 inches away with a cut pop bottle on top...and waited.
