CultThirteen Looking happy! How do you like the grow dots compared to other nutrients you’ve used? Would love to cut that step out of the process but have been skeptical

OHIGHOGrows When do you fill the reservoir? I have never used those before. I know you need to top water first but then you’re supposed to be able to fill through the tube right? Or since fertilizer like grow dots need to be wet to stay activated do you just water till your indicator starts floating? Just curious as to how those things work. I am seeing them from other growers more and more.
gypsygrowgoddess @OHIGHOGrows- You fill about a gallon into the area with the green float. I am gradually adding water, as they grow, so far I have only filled the bigger plant’s water reservoir to a half gallon at a time, and as it grows, eventually fill it with a gallon. This is my first time using them, but I watched a lot of videos about them. I haven’t watered the smaller one, through the reservoir yet, because it’s growing so much slower, and it’s so small, but as they get bigger I look forward to filling the reservoir up fully. 🙂

🥰🫐 She’s definitely starting to pick up on growth again, it took awhile after transplanting on 3/10 and all the soil crumbled , that was holding the roots, so she needed to establish more roots. Plus she only had one Cotyledon leaf, when I was removing her shell casing, so she is a bit smaller than the Freakshow, which is a day ahead.

One last pic tonight, before lights go out. I’m so happy that it’s perking up and looking happy. During transplant, it crumbled, and I had to carefully put the roots into a hole, and secure it with soil. Lucky it’s not an auto, so I don’t have to worry about it getting stressed out and stunting it.

Jimbo Norman Oof I’ve been there. Transplanting freaks me out so now I just start them in peat pellets and then drop them in the dirt once they’re growing. She’s looking great!
