SaviiBuds How’s the smell? It looks great!
Jake-the-Bud I got the lemon/gasy pheno. Smells so much like lemon when I pull it out. Smoked some and getting a nice relaxed body high. The lowers still need a bit more time.
SaviiBuds Awesome! I was wondering how the terps turned out with your drying method. I’m happy to see it worked so well for you! That seems way easier than trying to maintain a whole room or whatever. Might have to give it a try one day

Harvest
That’s a wrap! Overall got 900g wet not trimmed. In the fridge for 2-4 weeks to dry for the long and slow drying. Will post an update when I trim. It still smells like lemon in my house! Thought I was harvesting a lemon tree. Excited to try when she is all dried out.

Jake-the-Bud Thanks to everyone who commented and shared their experience or guidance! Learned a ton this grow and excited to start the next one in mid August! It’s way too humid for me to start again now and it won’t go away till mid October.

Forgot to update y’all on this since it was super early when I harvested and I have been super busy. Harvested the tops on 7/14 and going to harvest the bottoms now on 7/18 before lights on. Drying all using the lotus technique. Threw them in a wine fridge at 44f in paper bags. I have blue tooth sensors tracking the humidity. Will be 2-3 weeks before dry. So far harvested far less than what I expected but it was only one plant vs my normal two.

Jake-the-Bud Added what one of my bt sensors is saying today. The big spike is when I flipped the bags and fluffed the bud this morning. You can see the humidity getting pulled out. I have them in the bags to prolong the drying since it’s 32% outside of the bags.

Day 74 of flower. Got some foxtailing :(. Lowering the light schedule again to 10-14. Humidity has sky rocketed where I live so I plan to harvest this weekend.

SaviiBuds Sometimes foxtailing is just a genetic thing and not anything you did necessarily. Have you looked into the strain to see if other growers have had a similar result? Too much phosphorus is another reason plants show foxtailing, but I don’t see signs of excess phosphorus. She’s still beautiful either way! I bet she’ll be 🔥
Jake-the-Bud Thanks for the post growmie! I can’t find anything that would say it is prone to foxtail but with some of the fan leaves at the top experience what looks like light burn I am assuming it was to hot or to intense. I am using the app Photon to test the par/DLI and I was slightly above the top range for this stage. Since I am not seeing it anywhere else on the plant expect for the tops I am assuming it’s light.

Day 68 of flower 🌸. Still losing leaves but still growing new bud. Trichomes are still slightly clear so maybe this weekend or next I will harvest. Turning down the lights to make sure it’s not light/heat stress.

66 of flower! She just keeps growing. Her trichomes are still very clear but is finally losing her fan leaves. Probably another week or two. Really hard to not harvest since I just ran out of my last grow. :(

Irishgrower What indications are you looking for when it comes to harvest day?
Jake-the-Bud Great question! I have two that I am looking for. 1. For her to stop growing, I am noticing new pistils uncurling and her stacking up her bud. Each new growth only makes the bud far denser. 2. I got a jewelers loop and a mini microscope. I use the jewelers loop to get a quick glance of the trichomes. I am looking for 0% clear trichomes and 20-40% amber. With the rest cloudy. The second one is personal preference. And effects the overall effect.

organic_grower I did the 11/13 thing on my last grow. Didn't see any change I think they benefit from having the full 12 hours of light. I switched back on my last grows.

Endoara We just went legal in my state. Getting set up, never thought about bug protection. What do you use ? I this we got the same set up and genetics lol.
Jake-the-Bud Build a soil formula em-5. Great all natural stuff. You can also make it yourself and they give the ingredients. Build a soil stuff in general is great and he has YouTube videos if you wanna grow all natural.
