Never recovered

AlienRips Try cloning the tips only, cut right under the 3-4th node & cut the lower stems to remove them completely in order for the clone to heal by focusing all of its energy in root development only. To get better results I normally cut the fan leves also at 50% this way the clone will stop leaf growth and focus only in roots. Friendly tip Cindy I think we all have gone through clone fatality, eventually one masters it by trying over again.

Sad. I’m moving the other one to veg and see if I can recover and start with happy clones

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 What are they growing in? And also maybe take clones if possible to start them in something fresh. My strain I’m tryna create I put her through hell (flowered in soil, took clones late flower which almost died, then switched to dwc almost killed her again & then back to soil and even now I’m stressing her while flowering) take some clones veg for a few weeks then flower at least u won’t b starting over from seed

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 Btw it look like the same problem I’m having high temps and magnesium deficiency (I’m no pro tho so take that with a grain of salt)

Andymac No I appreciate the input. I am completely puzzled by what’s going on. Her sister that was supposed to go into flower had drooped, leaves got dark and stems were super purple and in the end I had to throw her out. The first seed grow and clone 1 had zero issues. The last two have been way off. Temps stay below 80 in Veg and 84 in flower. The biggest difference I see are in the roots. First two grows roots were super healthy and growing out the bottom and into the trays. I grow in 6x6x6 rockwool cubes. Use GH flora series and a few extras.

Things are VERY bad. After looking more and more about WTF is going on I think it’s root rot. The pictures below are a couple of days ago. They look sooooo much worse now. I treated with grow mix at 6.0 PH and great White. Turned water off for the next few days and dropped light to 50%. Wish me luck

tech4hollistics A little overwatered, and no root rot unless you got bugs. In borne soil pathogens cause root rot. I would recommend more ventilation a cal-mag dose due to the magnesium deficiency and a nitrogen boost also a bit of defoliation to decrease humidity because that is the biggest factor it will cause more problems if the humidity rises.

Andymac Thanks for the input. First, I grow in rock wool cubes, I have figured that I was watering too much. I also treated for possible fungus gnats. There are no other pest I can see (I’ve had spider mites in the past but it’s been years). My last two grows had heavy roots growing out the bottom of the cubes, this one and the clone I had intended to go into flower just never got the root system going like the last clone. I may have to pull it out of flower and try to revive in veg. I’m thinking it will be a complete waste of time, electricity and nutrients to keep her in flower this way. For now I treated with great white and my standard veg mix. I’ll probably clean the water tank and try fresh nutes again. Oh and the ph was around 7.5 for several days too. All that could go wrong has. Any more advice is appreciated.

Andymac I’ll also post current pics tonight. They are just sooo sad.
