Well it snuck up on me pretty quick, the two smaller plants in 3G’s are done 20% Amber. Perfect for the plan for this. 4g and 5G bigger plants cutting down tomorrow of the next day. The difference in size between these plants of same strain and box is pretty crazy, 1 looked the same until flower not sure if it is actually the same strain. Nice plant though anyhow, Smells delightful with tons of red hairs. Happy growing 🪴

4 plants all the same strain/start/soil/schedule. Different pots, topping techniques and transplant times. 1 is really different on the bottom of pic, seems behind Extremely frosty smaller 1/2 the size in buds.. Smells amazing 😁 Have a great weekend ✌️

NorthernGrow Thank you 🙏 I will ask you since I have seen your grows that are impressive (insert bowing down emoji) 👍 A lot of my leaves have a little downward droop at the end, that typically is an over watering condition right? I hate the blurple pics it doesn’t do justice to the true colours, but it does give enough to know what’s going on

NorthernGrow204 Thank you 🙏 I’m thinking some bamboo sticks in the near future would be a good idea for support. Couple weeks of ph’d molasses water and 2-3 weeks of just water for flushing, first smoke of this batch will be in the boat with the fellas secluded and fishing 🎣

Start of week 5 flower. Recovery taking longer than expected from the last defoliation they will see, early week 4 it was.. I can not believe the difference in these plants. Same strain, slightly different treatments.. 🤓 Topping method being a big factor in height/stretch

Best way to find cat hair, take a nice picture and you will find it later when looking at the picture 🤦♂️ Gave the ladies a decent defoliation today before a watering, opened it up and looks way better for light penetration 👍 should have defoliated more earlier on in veg 🤷♂️ heard week 4 of flower is last opportunity to do a clipping.

Opinions wanted.!! How much should a person really defoliate? I do like the looks of it when there is next to no fan leaves left, bud sites get way better light. But does that have a negative effect on yields? Main goal is the biggest yield of good buds, I don’t care if it’s 25% thc or 15%. Morning picture of the ladies all bright eyed..

trichometheatre I used to defoliate way too much!!! I would go with what @bud says! Then day by day you could remove a couple leaves a day to keep stress to the absolute minimum. Have a great night!☮️💚🧬

hashcompany If they’re at the canopy with the rest no, but f they’re always gonna be lower and not getting light yes. You should clone them!
NorthernGrow204 They are at canopy height just thinner than the rest.. I have not cloned yet, single tent operation so far.. Is there a reason why cloning that specific branch would be beneficial? Can a people clone timing wise with a single tent operation?? I have only done seed to harvest 😳 but I’m interested in speeding up the yields for sure if possible.
hashcompany I wish I had more clone info for you but I just took my first two clones lol they were indeed the bottom two nodes. The only reason I decided to root trueness and keep them alive is because I wanted the experience. If they’re at canopy I would leave them. If you have a scrog then you won’t have to worry about them flipping over from weakness because they will have the net to chill on.

NorthernGrow204 Haha just trying to be honest.. Not sure about the soil if it might have something non-organic in it, pro-mix hp soil.. Im using 2 drops of pH down per 4L of water, I’d imagine pH products are not organic..? Then Gaia Green dry all purpose and power bloom, with some local worm castings 🤷♂️👍😎
hashcompany Hell yeah, I got earth dust by the green sunshine company cause Gaia is too expensive where I’m at lol. I’m in the exact same boat with the PH so you’re totally right. I do assume they’re not organic lmao

Cleaning the ladies up and getting them nice and even for the first trellis run, I hope they do a nice stretch otherwise these are going to be a LOT smaller than hoped/expected. Advice please, First photo style grow. Is it time to give a big defoliation, some LST, set the trellis up and turn to flower mode a couple days later.? Currently 5 plants, the one top right plant is leaving this house for a new home in the next couple days.. What would you do next.?

vietti33w Nvm after reading that again. I defoliate/lollipop the day I flip them then week 2-3. I tested a heavy lst method the last run without the lollipop and got a ton of tony buds that probably weren’t worth trimming

These buggers heal quick hey, 2 days ago an almost clean break through and she is holding by herself already.. Plus Pics of my fav plant of the 5, biggest one in the middle. 4g soft pot with 1 transplant is in the lead so far, later today 2nd transplant for 1 - 2g going into a 5G fabric. Will it catch up to the 4g? all the same strain, all topped twice, same watering schedule. Can NOT wait to put them into flower.. (insert biting nails emoji)..

NorthernGrow204 Lined it up best I could and a small piece of duct tape wrapped around it 3-4 times, only time will tell if it worked.. the leaves and everything beyond the break look bang on the rest of it so far colour and growth wise.. 😬🤞 Overdone supercropping hopefully, may be beneficial if it works...?

benburke75 I use it and I find it does have a smell to it, I use a mask when applying it to my soil cause it gets really dusty. This mix works great! Good luck with your grow.
NorthernGrow204 My first use of it was two days ago, when I opened the tent last night the smell hit the nose like a forgotten pair of old wh0res Pajamas would.. Like standing on a beach that has a few decayed fish not too far away.. Made me worried I may have a different problem, smelling the top of the soil though is definitely where the smell is coming from. Thinking I’ll do a half flush next watering, get a good amount of runoff.. unless I shouldn’t 🧐🤷♂️.?
benburke75 Yeah it can pack a punch I believe the fishy smell could be the oyster shell flour, I add worm castings when top dressing my plants as well and my gf said it smells like a barn lol. Make sure to really get this stuff mixed into the top surface of your soil or it just solidifies and repels the water from going into my plants evenly. Where did you purchase your products from?

Advise/comments welcome. 48 hours growth between the two pics, and some leaf tucking. First introduction of Cal-Mag at 1/2 dose 3 days ago. Zero added nutrients so far, Gaia green going in on the next feed. Gave the girls a neem oil treatment last night, seen a few white spots on leaves..

Advice welcome.! Should I defoliate a bit this early? Third grow, first photo run. Topped them yesterday, did a couple by cutting above the third node. Planning on a second top in a few weeks when ready. Did the others by bending that newest growth bit at the top main cola (what is it actually called?) 1 - 4g soft pot, 2 - 3g airpots & 2 - 2 gallon soft pots to be transplanted some time. Promix soil for all, just cal-mag added so far, distilled water 6.5 without ph adjusting, adding Gaia green mixture in another week or two..

trichometheatre I used to get rid of the bottom leaves until I learned how much those leaves promote a healthy rhizosphere (root zone) and aid in root strength! Now I just tuck, but sometimes shits just gotta go!

First photo plant, 3rd grow for me, please add any helpful advice 👍 Putting 2 into 3G Air pots, 1 into 5G fabric, transplanted 2 so far, guessing/hoping 2 won’t of them won’t fit for the long run. Trellis this time and Gaia green dry amendment trial run 🤞2x4 tent hoping for at least a half pound dried and cured. Last run with 3 autos combined final was 224 grams d & c 💨
