budman0211 I seen the dude that does these all the time. He takes those coils u made and the stems go through them. Then bend the coil a bit to the direction you want.
Vgrow I know I made it to do that, but used it different.

Vgrow Sticky fingers. Thnx but next time I’m going to plan on how I want her to look instead of just winging it. After I get back from Italy I’ll do more bonsai, but it be hard to leave to come back here. I’m still not sure how I want her to look in the end.

Starting the major bend, took off bottom first set. Going to raise the light to get her to stretch more. And getting fed.

Transplanted to final pot. Let her get settled before start real training. Taking advantage of the bend already had, so stopping her from standing straight up. I put her off to the side of pot. Can’t wait. Let’s see.

Next one I’m pop in a different container. She about ready after a feed yesterday. Wanting another node before transplant. I need to get find something to bonsai her in.

Caliban Why not fill the cup full w soil?
Vgrow I noticed the guy who started cannabonsai book was starting in a short cup with little soil. I just didn’t cut the cup.
Caliban The point of the cup is that you want the roots to expand a bit before transplanting. This size cup is the perfect size and depth. Deep roots transplant better than shallow. And having the canopy constrained deep inside deprives it of breeze and light probably. Just my opinion. 👍

Moving along for the bonsai nice the stem already starting with a little curve. That helps.

Way farther then yesterday. I’ve read to wait till node 2-3 about 15 days before transplanted into Bonsai pot.

mystrain420 _@eaegifts It’s really easy and the more you learn about it the more fun it becomes. You’ll look at certain ppls plants and know if it’s a actual bonsai or just a small plant
