Blueberry Auto

Summer 2021

Two Blueberry Autoflowers, seeds from ILGM. Used cheap Surpsun 1000W LED to start grow. Moved seedlings outside around 1 week. Growing them in 2.5-3 gal, plastic planter pots. Organic potting soil w/ peat pellet placed in the center for initial seedling growth. Eleanor’s VF-11 liquid fertilizer at half strength once a week or so. Neem Oil to protect from pests. Also using the LEDs inside on stormy days.

Day: 68

Buds dried for about a week, wanted it to go longer but they’re pretty fluffy and felt pretty dry even though the stems weren’t snapping. Time for my first go around with the curing process 🤙🏼

Caliban

Caliban Good luck. If the stems are still moist it may take longer to cure.

googrows34 Thank you, I plan on growing indoors the next grow so I should have more control over the environment to ensure the best growing conditions next time… and hopefully I don’t go out of town right before harvest again

Caliban

Caliban They still might be amazing once they cure. I jar cure for a month. And dry for about 7-10 days in low RH

Have to go out of town for a week so I decided to harvest a bit early to avoid the risk of putting them into someone else’s hands so close to finish. Hopefully they smoke decent, either way feels great to almost have the first grow under the belt 😎

The weather is looking perfect the next couple of days so I’m going to harvest at the end of the week. First grow has gone very well, and I think the leaf change to yellow wasn’t due to any problems just the natural flowering process. Looking forward to the first go at drying and curing! ✌🏼

Day: 54

Plants are getting pretty yellow and some browning on the sugar leaves but trichomes are still clear-cloudy. Should I harvest now or try to figure out what’s wrong?

Day: 48

pH is reading between 5-6, is that too low for organic soil and is that likely the reason for my leaves yellowing?

googrows34 Thank you! I’ll get some pH Up/Down ASAP then.

Plants look like they’re struggling a bit, the leaves seem to be yellowing a little to early from what I’ve read. Does anyone know what this yellowing could be? pH nute lockout?

ChiTownMade1 Depends . Could be a deficiency. What are you feeding it and how much etc

googrows34

googrows34 I fed it Eleanor’s VF-11 two feedings in a at full strength and then just recently watered it with straight water

ChiTownMade1 How often did you feed it

I can’t tell, is this the start of mould or some sort of fungus?

Caliban

Caliban Did you do any folia spraying?

Caliban

Caliban It could be mold too.

googrows34

googrows34 I haven’t applied Neem oil for a couple weeks now

Day: 22

LST started around day 14. A lot of cloudy weather here this next week, so hoping they continue to grow at a decent rate. Applied Neem Oil yesterday when I noticed pests eating at some leaves.
