Bruce banner: Week 10 of flower and she still doesn’t look done, but I will be cutting her down today. She was stunted since the beginning and I’m proud the way she finished. Yeah

Gg4 still needs more time, but I’m running out of time before my Holiday trip, I’m going to harvest her today. She’s still a beaut and trichomes are close to cloudy

Gg4 had to be cut a bit early since I’m going out of town, but she’s basically ready. Got one more girl to harvest but she’s no where near ready.

Day: 84

It’s harvest day for Girl Scout cookies extreme auto! Going to chop in a bit and hang upside down. About 5-10% amber on most buds. I need to dry her out in less than two weeks then cure in grove bags before I leave to vacation on the 27th. The other two girls won’t be ready for a couple more weeks.

Week 8 of flower. GSCE is almost ready. Her trichomes are stacking up. Bruce banner is still half way though flowering. Will need to feed her in two weeks. Gg4 is maturing; she’s growing orange leaves and lots of leaves are yellowing. She is also around the corner maybe another week or so. I just watered about a Liter each.

Day: 72

They are all about to Enter week 7 of flower. Gsce is almost finished. I’m starting to see cloudy trichomes. Will harvest her within the next week or so. Gg4 is starting to bud up nicely all over the place. Still needs atleast 3 weeks. I accidentally Burnt the top cola. Finally, Bruce banner is hairy and raging. Her buds are finally starting to bulk up. She will need atleast another month before harvesting. So far so good. I watered them yesterday with 1.5L each. I also fed all plants since they were starting to show signs of hunger. 3tbs of 444 284 and wc top dressed. Will water later tomorrow if needed.

Day: 68

Flower

Plants are on auto pilot. Just phing to 6.5 and feeding about 1-1.5L of water everyday or every other day when they are light to the touch. Bruce banners leaves are starting to turn purple on top. Gsce bugs are getting fattier by the day. Gg4 buds are finally bulking up. This one will by far produce the most buds in my opinion. All plants seem healthy. I did over feed all of them since they have nutrient burns on the leaves. The buds are getting frosty!

Day: 65

It’s week 6 of flower and GSC is looking great. Trying to recover from over feeding my Gg4 been only watering 6.5ph water.

Day: 61

Flower
+23

Apparently gg4 was hungry so I decided to do a top feeding on all three plants to replenish their mediums. 3tbs of 2-0-0wc, 2-8-4, and all purpose 4-4-4. I have about 3-4 weeks left of flowring so this will be their final feedings till harvest. I did major defoliation on all three plants. Bruce banner was the hairiest one. Gsce still has the most dense buds. Gg4 has the most colas. Banner is looking super healthy and recovering strong from its incident during veg. Bruce banner has out grown gsce in size. I will test the soil ph tomorrow when I receive some meters. Only watering at 6.5ph dechlorinated tap water.

Day: 57

Currently on week 8 since they were planted. It’s about week 4 and a half of flower, basically half way through flowering and GSCE is doing amazing. She’s budding up nicely. GG4 has alot more colas thanks to the LST training, but it’s lacking the thick buds. It’s still early in budding. I hope they get fatter. Bruce banner has been stressed since week 1 so she just started budding like a week or two ago. I’m hoping for the best on these three girls. Additionally I have been watering when the pot is light. Approximately every 2 days or less. I’ve been giving them a 1.5L of dechlorinated water. No more nutrients. I kinda over did it, shouldn’t had added any more nutes since it already had hot soil in the bottom of the pot. A lot of leaves from the fabric pots turned yellow and burnt nuts tips. I’ve been only watering at 6.5ph and it looks like it’s normalizing now. Overall these girls are in perfect health and smell amazingly GSCE have some nice frosty terpenes growing. I also lowered the light down to about 18-20 inches from the plants and have it blasted at 100% about a week and half ago. They seem to be loving the intensity. Just did some selective defoliation on Bruce banner to increase the light penetration. And hopefully increase the buds

Day: 52

Flower
+15

All girls are constantly watered every other day. They are drinking about 1.5l of water as well. Gorilla is still growing upwards but lacking on the buds size. GSCE has the fattest buds and best grow overall. Bruce banner is struggling on the flowering side. Time will tell. I’ve started to notice some nutrient burning on the leaves. Some yellowing as well. I shouldn’t had fed them extra nutes when they already had a powerful slow releasing super soil extract in the bottom of their fabric pots. I’m excited to see them grow. The smell is amazing in here. Not too potent but it’s getting there. I’m about a bit over the half way mark i think.

Just watered about a Litter each. It’s a slow process but the buds are gradually getting denser and bigger. Two days ago I applied 1tbs of Gaia green dry amendments. 284, 444, and 200.

Day: 42

Watered all plants yesterday. They are drinking faster than ever. They seem healthy and growing in a steady pace. All plants are flowering now. Gg4 is the tallest and widest one, but buds are still immature. Gsc is flowering nicely growing circular buds already. Banner is just starting to flower and is by far the slowest auto here. I increased the light to 90% at about 30 inches from the plants. Average temp is 77-78 degrees F and 50-55 RH.

Day: 41

Flower

Started the grow on 9/20/2023. So today marks day 41 for this grow. Plants are loving the 45 DLI. GSC is budding the fastest and thickest buds. GG4 is the tallest and had the most colas. Banner has just started to flower maybe day 3 of flower. Plants are drinking fast. Will need to increase the dosage on the next feed. I’ve continued LST. Keeping temp at 78-80F and rh between 50-55. Will water when they wake up around 2pm

Day: 38

Flower
+11

Today I did some selective defoliation to clear the way for new colas. I had watered 4 cups each plant yesterday, but today they seem a bit dry. Might water tomorrow. Bruce banner has started budding after taking so many hits and stunts. The low stress training is paying off and a lot new bud sites are showing on all flowers. Contemplating whether I should top dress or not. I don’t see any deficiencias so I am going to hold off, until the buds are really growing. There’s already California super soil (hot) in the bottom of the medium. Label states that all I need to do is water till harvest. I raised up the light intensity to 100% and the plants are sitting about two feet from the lights. Let’s hope this works better. So far so good. Let’s hope these plants somehow grow some dense ass colas. Lowered the intensity to 63% at 2feet and they are enjoying it

After messing around with the light schedule/ intensity/ DLI and watering. I’ve concluded the following. See last photo for my calculations that I will try for the remaining of the grow. I believe that something went wrong along the grow in the beginning weeks. From overwatering to excessive heat/intensity. I’ve definitely stunted these autos compared to a lot of people within the same stage of flowering as I am in. Well this is my first grow so I expected to mess it up. I only gained knowledge and experience. My autos are doing alright. They are a lot happier and shaping into nice buds slowly but surely. Currently have the light 18 inches from my autos at 620 ppfd and 45 DLI. I watered yesterday around 4 cups of water or 1000ml of 6.2ph water since I’m trying to lower the soil PH which is reading around 7.5 ( not a big deal since I’m using organic super soil / organic potting soil.) Atleast I hope. So far the plants have been reacting pretty good to these conditions so I will consider it moving forward. Any feedback will be appreciated. The leaves are squatting/ tacoing for a while now.

Day: 33

Flower

It’s about 5 weeks since I’ve planted these seeds. Bruce banner is hanging there. Struggling to survive. I just noticed that she has not shown signs of flowering which is good. I need her to recover. Both other girls are flowering nicely. I’ve done more LST and tucking. Trying to open up the canopy evenly but there are so many leaves that pushes me to defóliate a bit. Plants don’t need water. They are all adapting to the new temp change I provided. After roaming the web for a couple of hours, I’ve concluded the following. Preflowering (week 5)stage : DLI - no more than 45 for 20/4 schedule Ppfd-600-700 light intensity at 78% from 31 inches distance from plants. I’m going to run this for the remainder of the week and see how the girls reacts. Slowly will be pushing more ppdf as weeks go by. I’m sitting at 78.3F And 70%rh which I will lower a bit within the next couple of hours to 60-65% let’s hope for the best. Just watered about 4 cups of water instead of 6-7 like last watering. Plants are lively now and happy.

Had an accident with Bruce banner. Accidentally snapped the main cola, was unable to repair it. Other than that the plants have been healthy for the mold part. Seem a bit stressed. Don’t need to water for a bit. Keeping the light at 100% at 31 inches from plant. 65% rh 25-26 celcius

Girls are enjoying the dechlorinated phed 6.5 water I have them yesterday. Bunch of colas are sticking out and stretching nicely. I increased the light a little bit. 63%. Temp dialed in at 25.3 celcius and 52rh. Might need to get a dehumidifier to get the rh lowered, but so far so good. Not sure if people use vitamin c powder to dechlorinated water but it’s working pretty good and I feel like it’s stimulating the grow as well.

Caliban

Caliban Why not full light power?

LeChron James

LeChron James 52rh is low enough for flower, but the added vegetation from stretching will drive that up. If winter is coming where you live then the climate inside your home will probably get drier. You might be ok. I can say that if you do spring for a dehumidifier, get a good one that’ll last.

Tallboy2023

Tallboy2023 I run 68% RH in veg. More about VPD for me though. How are you determining light intensity? PPFD?

Girls entered preflowering so I will mark it as day one for flowering. I was going to feed tomorrow but I check the moisture levels and it stated it was close to dry. Gave all three plants closer to two litters of water since they been drinking heavy heavily last couple of days. I also watered about one inch of water in their individual saucers . All plants are doing great. I lowered the light about 24-28 inches from the plants and set the intensity to 62% sitting at 450-500 ppdf. Should be good for now. Hopefully won’t need to water for next couple of days. I started LST on brucey. So far so good. I stopped running the humidifier since the humidity is constantly around 48-53 on its own. Temp still dialed in at 24-26 celcius.

Readjusted some garden ties. Gorilla glue looking strong and adjusting fine to the lst. Waiting game at this point. All girls seem healthy. Banner is hanging in there. GSCE looking good as well. I kinda set a lot of traps everywhere since I saw an earwig roaming around outside the tent. Made a soy sauce / veg oil trap 🪤.

Day: 18

LST started. Hopefully I’m doing it right. All plants seem healthy except one which I won’t be doing LST. Bruce banner seems stressed already.

apexpred From what I’ve learned your suppose to support the base of the plant as well but Ive also seen people go for more of a spiral shape for the main stem. Want more of a bend then a lean. I’d be careful I ended Up breaking the main stem because of bending to far. And had to scrap it being an auto.

apexpred Should look like and L. My plants were short and stout tho and they didn’t like to just bend at the top tho

Professor Chag

Professor Chag Yeah that’s what I am afraid of.. which is why I’m just leaning it to expose some of the side leaves.

Plants are officially dried up according to the meter. Watered 1L each with dechlorinate 6.3 tap water. Conditions are the same. So far so good. Plants are looking good.

Day: 16

+4

Accidentally ripped a portion of a leaf on my GSC. Hope she doesn’t get too stressed. I was checking the soil moisture level and pulled a leaf when I pulled out the meter. So far all plants are doing fine. Green and healthy. I still have not watered. Seems like they don’t need water. My last watering was about 4-5 days ago. Soil seems dry from top but meter still states moist. Will water tomorrow if needed. Soil ph is around 6-7. Light intensity is at 80% from 40 inches from the plant. They seem to like this temp/intensity. Temperature dialed in on 23-24 Celsius and 60-70rh. Started to put ice in the humidifier to help keep the temperature lower.. so far so good.

Day: 15

+5

Nothing really has changed. Plants are still nice and healthy and slowly growing. Haven’t watered them in 3 days now. I measured the moisture in the soil and it appears to still be wet. Although I stuck my finger about 3 inches deep and felt dry. The meter says otherwise. Will monitor closely and maybe water tomorrow. Temperature is dialed in on 24 Celsius and 65 RH. Will start LST soon since leaves are growing fast under the third and second nodes. Still haven’t fed them any nutrients. The medium should be good enough for the first 30 days and hopefully the California super soil starts to kick in after the roots have reached those areas

p42o

p42o Looking real good! Couple of questions - what do you have that training wire anchored to? And also, on the last pic the big leaves have a more defined line going down the middle. I have that too and was curious if that’s anything to watch

Professor Chag

Professor Chag What’s man, I don’t have anything anchored to that training wire, I just have it stuck into the ground. She just needed a little bit of support cause that the one that got stunted in the beginning. I don’t think it’s a big concern with the big line going down the center. I really don’t know because this is my first time grow.

Day: 14

+4

Officially hit two weeks today. All plants seem nice and healthy. Checked the soil on all three plants and it’s still reading wet. Will not water until it’s closer to dry. The root system on Bruce banner is very weak. I will continue to monitor them day by day. Conditions: 24-26 degrees celcius at 60-70 rh. Light intensity around 78% at 40 inches from the plants. Perfect intensity, plants seem to be thriving in them. So far GOA is in the lead in overall growth. GSCE in second place and Bruce banner in dead last. All healthy. Not sure if I’m over doing it with so many fans.

cookredeyed

cookredeyed Your plants look great! I grew a bruce banner recently and it turned out wonderful! I got mine from sweet seeds (which I think is ‘hit and miss’ as far as quality goes) and was very happy. I still have 1 seed left😎😃

Professor Chag

Professor Chag I stunted my Bruce banner unfortunately, I hope she recovers! Thank you tho. I did see you’re Bruce banner. It has fat buds

cookredeyed

cookredeyed They were huge! Considering it was such a short plant, it was all bud! And had a lot of purple in it too! Autos are very easy to stunt, I’m in to means an expert, but I have certainly f’d up many autos just by looking at them wrong! Lol! Why do you think it is stunted? In your pics they all look healthy imo.

Plants are living their lives at this point. Changed the lighting to 100%. Sitting at 40 inches from the. Plants. Soil is still wet, no need to water. GOA is growing faster than all three girls. GSC in second place. Bruce banner is growing slow, I think She got stunted in the start, but all plants are nice and green. Haven’t gave my plants any nutrients from the start. They are still feeding off the medium. Not sure if the roots have reached the California super soil towards the bottom of the medium. According to the super soil, I only need to water with dechlorinated ph’ed water until the end of the harvest. Will continue to monitor closely since I moved up to 100% light intensity. Temp sitting at 26 degrees Celsius and 60-70rh. Great conditions for veg.

Professor Chag

Professor Chag Oh additionally, I stopped LST since the plants might of been a little to young. Will start LST at day 21-28

p42o

p42o Looks good! Is your light only that high because you’re going with 24:7? I have mine about 22” above in 18/6 but I feel like my overall growth has slowed down. I may just be checking them too often 🤣

Professor Chag

Professor Chag I was just too lazy to move the lights up and down so I left it as high as possible and maxed out the light intensity. First time using this set up and first time growing so I kinda don’t know what I’m doing. I’m just guesstimating

Day: 12

Watered with dechlorinated 6.5ph water. About 2 cups each plant. Won’t need watering for another 3 days or so. The Bruce banner stalk is very week. I’m sure she is stunted. Had to been the fact that she was stretching in the beginning. GSC and GOA doing great and bouncing back from LST

Idoglue I’m pretty new to growing so I’m not really sure but I don’t do any LST until the plant is a bit stronger and has more of a stable foundation. Also, are they auto flowers or photos cause I’d say you might want to start with a smaller pot if they’re photos. They’re looking healthy tho 👍

Professor Chag

Professor Chag They are autos. I should of waited till they were atleast 3 weeks, but I’m impatient lol and it’s my first run so I’m just experimenting

Day: 11

So far so good. Soil is reading moist but towards dry. Will have to water in a couple of hours. In the mean time I started LST. Not sure if it’s too soon but I already see small leaves starting to grow on the side of the main stalk on the GOA.

Adam Smasher I'm very excited about the project🤩🤩

Professor Chag

Professor Chag Likewise brother! It’s all trial and error moving forward.

Devanguy56288

Devanguy56288 I started LST and topping early on my first run and I think I started nutes my plants by doing that. My current 2nd run I’m on day 19 and still haven’t started LST. I’m wanting them a bit bigger before I start. I recommend having support at the base of the plant going the opposite direction from the top that your trying to train in the other direction. From what I’ve read and what I’ve been told is that you don’t want the base moving or pulled on because you don’t want that tap root to move or to be under any stress.

Day 10 since sprouted. So far so good. Really boring. Plants are enjoying the conditions 22-25 degrees Celcius 60-70% rh. All three plants are doing great. Gorilla glue is by far the tallest and most healthy one. I will definitely plant them in soil to germinate in their final pots. Will no longer germinate with paper towel bag method. 7 months ago

LeChron James

LeChron James Hey Professor 😁 this isn’t that uncommon and is nothing to worry about. Gently support it for a few weeks till it stretches. As you gain stem you can add soil to your pot . New roots will grow out of the buried stem. This plant will very likely be just fine. Just make sure the foliage isn’t laying on the soil/coco.

Professor Chag

Professor Chag Thanks buddy!

Professor Chag

Professor Chag I added more soil and watered them. She’s already fixing herself

Day: 5

Watered about 6 hours ago. (First actual watering) before it was all spraying) 2/3 of a cup each plant received. Increased the light intensity 77% . Gorilla glue is growing very nicely out of 3 plants. Looks like it’s true leaves are starting to grow. Other two plants are still nice and healthy. Seed in the cup is not germinating. Might just be a bad seed. Conditions: averageYeah25.9-26.5 celcius. With 65-75% rh.
