trichometheatre It’s because of the heat and humidity

ig:@eaegifts I looked at the last update and think the large pot is the main reason, small plants grow slowly in large pots that’s why it’s advised to start in cups. Your light strength and distance will also play a part in things, your older plant has similar leaf structure and node spacing so the other factor is the light. Raise the light if it’s heavy on the blue because that blue keeps foliage small and stature compact. Just my opinion but the info I gave can be fact checked 👍🏾👍🏾

trichometheatre Yes! Absolutely! I think what IG is referring to is over-potting! If the pot is too big it will hold too much water, causing the soil to take too much time to dry, making it prone to root rot. However, this is all about heat and humidity! Just google over-potting. I have done a good amount of tests on different types of starting medium (I mean jiffy cups, cubes, rock wool, etc; and I think. the best way to start a seedling is underneath the hood in jiffy pucks, then into solo cups or 1 gallon pots, depending what each plants growth is like, and then base your decision on the size of your pot by each plant. Most likely a 3-7 gallon pot. Be easy!☮️💚🧬

Both in 5 gallon pot. Will transplant one in about 2 weeks or so before the roots interlock
