My Third Grow [03/11/20]
Big Bud Auto / Amirani Auto / Ochopintre
For my third grow, I am growing four autoflowers (listed below) in pre-buffered coco coir with 25% perlite. Plants will be thriving under the Mars-Hydro TS 600. Main nutrients used will be Calmag, FloraMicro, FloraGro, FloraBloom, FloraKleen, Ripen, Liquid Fulvic Acid, BioRoots, Liquid Koolbloom and Silicone. Light cycle is 20/4. Ideal environment with temperatures at 21-24 degrees celcius and humidity level at 55%. Tent has two mini fans, one under the canopy and one at the top of the tent. UPDATE: RIP Big Bang Auto, RIP Ochopintre Auto. Introduced Bubushka Black Auto, Kings Kush Auto and LSD-25. 4 Plants - 2 Amirani Auto (Caucasian Seeds) - King’s Kush Auto (Green House Seed Company) - Bubushka Black Auto (Kalashnikov Seeds)

[3/12/20] The two Amirani’s are doing solid, the one on the left had around 3 tops fallen, and the one on the right had 2 fall off. A little bit tragic but nothing I can do to but move forward with it. RIP to the Big Bang Auto. I ordered two seeds, Kings Auto Kush and Bubushka Black Auto. When they arrive I will also document from germination till harvest on this grow. Since they are all under one tent it would be a real pain in the ass to have a different diary for each pot

[12/2/20] Re arranged tent. The Big Bang Auto in the Jack Daniels bottle is slowly dying. Should remove it by tomorrow!

plantman Richie, I can tell you why it is dying. Very simple, actually. It is a clear glass bottle. Roots cannot be exposed directly to light. Try transplanting it, but when you do, take some hair, yes, I said hair, and put it in the hole of the soil right below the roots. It will add a huge amount of nitrogen, and might just save the plant, but get it out of that clear bottle....that was your mistake here.
plantman In fact, shove some hair under all of them. In a day or 2 you will see them perk up very nicely.
richie010 I have already left it in my sink overnight so there isnt really recovery after that, Im about to upload some pictures of the seeds that I just got 😁

[12/1/20] I ordered a new seed, Kings Kush Auto from Green house seed company and I will be growing that straight into the 20L pot. The Big Bang Auto is sitting in a bottle of Jack Daniels and some water because why not? Ive injured the plant to the point where growth after recovery would be a waste of time and effort.

[11/30/12] Transplanting Big Bang Auto damaged roots and plant is not recovering yet. The Amirani on the right is the healthiest and biggest. The Amirani on the left would have been the same but 3 tops fell off the autoflower

combatmedic81 You might want to go with grow bags instead of plastic pots, grow bags should dry out quicker allowing more feeding and air to get to the roots

[07/11/20] One of the Amirani Autos ended up not rooting so I will be adding a new strain to my grow and its called Ochopintre Auto, its a local strain bred with Amnesia Haze, strain is 50% Indica and 50% Sativa.

[07/11/20] I like to have small amounts of nutrients in pH’d water from the start of the plants life cycle. I do this only when using coco coir. If I am using soil I will start feeding my plants 2 weeks in usually when the cotyledon leaves begin wilting away. I made their food in a 5L water bottle. I used 2.5mg of CalMag, 0.5mg of FloraMicro and 0.5mg of FloraGro in water pH’d to 5.8. Normally I like my water to be around 6.2 on the pH scale but I added a little too much pH down solution and I don’t have any pH up solution, so fuck it :D

Kushinator Hi mate, not sure if you’ve been told by now, but you can just add tap water again to bring the ph back up, that why a lot of people don’t bother with ph up ✌🏽

[06/11/20] Big Bang Auto seed started to sprout with around a cm of visible root. I haven’t checked the Amirani Autos yet but once I plant the Big Bud Auto later on today. Ill end up posting an update if any changes occur.

[03/11/20] All three autoflowers are still in germination but these are the pots I’m going to be growing them in. Once I harvest my Critical+ 2.0 auto, I will then transplant the Big Bang Auto into its pot. The two Amirani autos will remain in 2L pots.
