Day 36 flowering ... snapped a branch by accident trying to bend it over a little and I rapped it with a piece of tissue as a bandaid ... think it would help ?

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 It’s a bit harder to fix further into flowering, it’s usually better to remove it so she keeps focus on bud formation. 35 days in vegetative grow is completely done, this is why most ppl don’t trim after day 21. Good luck with them 👍🏾

giannib4

giannib4 Thanks bro I appreciate it

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 @giannib4 do your research to find the correct answers, You’ll find lots of information on why it’s a bad idea during flower. My answer came from research, experience and common sense-the average strain these days is a hybrid (indica-sativa cross) with a 60-70 day flower cycle so that’d be 25-35 days left to fix itself and pack on weight if your in day 35 already. Anyone telling you to wrap it at such a late stage is crazy especially if they don’t even tell you to use a rooting hormone like Clonex. Good luck with whatever you do and be sure to post your results I’m interested to see these babies go 👍🏾

What’s happening ?

andymac

andymac I am going to guess you are over watering. I see water globes tucked into the soil. How often do you fill those back up? When I grew in soil, I would weigh my plants so I knew when to water. Overwatering will kill. Your girls should be thriving and by week three you should have solid bud structures popping up on the tops and side branches. I hope that helps.

godsgrower316 So much pain before you start tiring down and Manipulating the plant wait till you have at least five nose going up the steps if you don’t know what notes are those are the stems and leaves connect to start branching

ZEDDYspaghetti

ZEDDYspaghetti Definitely training these plants way too early!

giannib4

Can u tell if male or female yet ? 🤔

Doobie123

Doobie123 I can tell you are a passionate grower, but my guy your plant is very small and shouldn’t be tied down to the soil. You won’t know what sex it is until it’s about time for flowering unfortunately, and that’s a long way down the road. Untie your plant for Christ’s sake and get it off the dirt

giannib4

giannib4 Thanks bro will do

Doobie123

Doobie123 Cool I wasn’t trying to me mean I am trying to give my honest advice from what I’ve learned in my personal experience. The general rule for me is no leaves touch the ground and I make an even canopy of bud sites. I start training when the plant is strong enough to do so

yowie2318

yowie2318 Its called whorled phyllotaxis or phyllotaxy where at least three leaf primordia/branch grow at the same node point equidistant round the stem. Its not trifoliate which is a leaf divided into three leaflets. I have grown quite few whorled phyllotaxy plants, if they maintain the form through flowering, the buds are little different to cannabis’s normal decussated phyllotaxis sister seedling plants, psychoactive effects are much the same, colas are usually shorter/fatter and yield a bit lower. I tried breeding for whorled phyllotaxy at one time, using whorled phyllotaxy male/female plants but the next generation were normal decussated phyllotaxis. The mother of C3 tends to jump between normal decussated phyllotaxis and whorled phyllotaxis, she was kept because of her outstanding psychoactive high, I have never seen whorled phyllotaxy expressed once in the C3 generation or had one reported, I assume its an unstable recessive trait. I have seen as many a 5 points but its usually 3 or occasionally 4, as the plants mature they often reverse to the normal 2 opposed points.

giannib4

giannib4 So would you say the mutation makes is a garunteed female ?

yowie2318

yowie2318 No not at all, if it’s a regular seed it’s 50/50 if it were a fem seed then it would 99% be female, 0.5% male and 0.5% hermie if it’s a well bred stable genetic. Where is the seed from? What’s the breeder and background, do a little research and you’ll find out what to expect during growth my friend.
